  1. Hey @iacas before I film this drill is this how wide you would want to take your hands on the backswing before you hinge your wrists or is it an exaggerated feel because of the stick?
  2. Yes is that too much? I could see the stick on my back well past the grey pipe away from the target.
  3. Day 28. I had it filmed and the stick back off when I remembered to hit balls with the stick on. So the vid just has no ball drills.
  4. What I am loving about these drills is almost every problem you can have in the golf swing is addressed and if you are having trouble in the future you can refer back to whichever drill could help fix your problem. Excellent stuff
  5. Day 27. I forgot to film the practice swings at the end incorporating the feels but I did do them. I thought I might be guilty of early extension but when I don’t sway on the backswing I find it a lot easier not to early extend.
  6. I think these were to be done both hands underhanded, and left hand down below the grip Scott. (I think that's your name)
  7. Day 26. Something I definitely need to work on is the follow through, my arms tend to fold up or chicken wing.
  8. I’ve never even considered any of this. The majority of time I play golf it would be below 50F and in the summer it would definitely start below 50F and get warmer. (I play early most of the time) I never worried about the balls being cold, I noticed I hit shorter on especially frosty mornings but put it down to my own muscles being cold and a bit stiff
  9. Day 24. I’m really enjoying this style of pitching and I think I will use it a lot whenever we get back playing here.
  10. Welcome, this site is the best golf site on the net. Be open to learning and you will improve 👍
  11. This style shot might work well for you from those distances Also check out this thread, there is a chipping and pitching section.
  12. Day 23. Spent a good bit of time working on this. Only posting a quick vid for proof. Nobody wants to see me going through my pre shot routine ten times. It needs a lot of work, time is around the same but waggles and things are not consistent at all.
  13. I'm following iacas' 30 day practice plan. I had two weeks off work isolating because we had covid-19 in our house and had plenty of time to practice. Back at work now though. I'm hoping we reopen golf courses here in May and I'm really hopeful all this practicing will pay off and shoot some good scores.
  14. Why do you want the club parallel to the ground? Very few tour pros get their irons parallel to the ground from what I’ve seen.
  15. Day 21. I hit the towel a couple of times chipping but all in all I was quite happy as someone who hits a lot of fat shots.
  16. Thanks for the reply Mike. I understand now, thanks to Erik and yourself.
  17. Day 20 done. Hung a blanket on the line but it’s quite breezy so that part of the drill was awkward. Really like this drill though, Feels like a very natural movement.
  18. I didnt even realise, too busy thinking about a full stretch up the right side. It might have been the wrap, it doesnt stretch very far but ill try again to see. 👍
  19. Day 19. All I had was an elasticated wrist wrap for the gym so it doesn’t stretch quite as far.
  20. Oh I get you now, I thought you meant the type of swing you have now.
  21. What do you do now out of interest?
  22. Erik just a question I always thought on this site that you guys encouraged a backswing where the lead hip doesn’t move back. How would you move your trail hip back without your lead hip going back. In MvMac’s thread how to draw the ball and how to hit driver, both threads encourage a backswing where the lead hip doesn’t move back? I’m a little confused.
  23. Day 18. I liked this drill. I just filmed two of each and two again of the one I found the most difficult which was the out to in path. I practiced all of them a lot more I’m not sure which I found easier the straight path or the in to out path.
