  1. Another club line to look at that seems like it has had great reviews on this site and others is Cleveland's Classic Putters line. I have the Classic 3 but they just released the Classic 4 and 4.5. They can be had for around $70 too. http://clevelandgolf.com/US_putters.html As others have posted, putters are unique in that you really need a club that will give you confidence when you are lining up, therefor I can see justifying the money on a Scotty Cameron.
  2. A: Probably intended for someone older than me, but yes I do, as I am currently a Junior at Texas A&M.; Q: If you had the choice between playing a local muni type course 5 times a week or playing a country club condition course twice a week, which would you choose?
  3. Care to give a more detailed review on the 950s? I'm looking into a new set of irons and these are on my list.

    Baseball grip...

I use it. I've thought about switching to an interlock but haven't had the time to dedicate to it.

    Texans

    I'm assuming Austin, TX.

I'm actually from Austin. Best courses I've played out there are : Shadowglen: very nice and not too expensive Star Ranch in Hutto: EXTREMELY NICE definitely one of my favorite of all time. Plus it is only $22 after 4. Terravista in Round Rock: Haven't played here in a while because they raised their prices quite a bit. Don't walk it as most holes are spread WAY apart. Definitely a nice course and layout though.
  7. another user for oobgolf.com here. Also, lumpuckeroo, nice Jayhawk win this weekend!
  8. Just throwing this out there, but I have a set of Tommy Armour Lady 845s with Graphite shafts that are great and I would be willing to part with. 3-PW.
  9. I have these , and they are extremely comfy.
  10. For score tracking , I use oobgolf.com. It is pretty easy to use and tracks a lot of neat things.
  11. Man, I'm 20 right now and that seems like a GREAT deal for the junior membership. Would stink not being able to play the early morning on the weekends, but for 750, you can't go wrong. I am currently a member at the Texas A&M; Campus course, which is not great by any means, but it is nice to be able to walk out there whenever I want and play a few holes. And it looks way crappier than that course but it is the same price. I have come accross a CC here in College Station, Texas that allows unlimited use of their facilities(golf, range, pool, tennis...etc.) for only 1400 a year and was wondering if it would be worth it. Currently my membership doesn't allow me to hit on the range, and it has shown as every now and then I need to go and work out some swing faults, but would rather not pay for anything so I just deal with it and play a round. I guess what I am trying to say is: Congrats on finding a good club!
  12. eh, I've got the Hibore XLS and it is pretty ugly, but you get used to it when you start hitting it well.
  13. Shot a 41 today which is the best 9 holes I have ever shot. This is with two 3 putts(both were with me GIR). Had 4 pars and 5 bogies, pretty consistant golf.
  14. Nickent clubs are great. I have their 3DX DC Hybrid 3, man is it easy to hit.
  15. Definitely the one off of the fairway. You have a club for the tee, called a driver.
