Low Bounce is good for shots from tight lies and hard conditions. less bounce lowers the leading edge of the blade. This makes it heaps easier to open the face and hit high. High Bounce is designed for play out of bunkers and really soft lies. The bounce angle stops the club digging in. High bounce is probably easier to hit sand shots. If your a poor bunker player i would look at something with some bounce. Otherwise a standard bounce level will be ok. Get some good wedges and then go practise. Good wedges help but you can still have a double hit flub that lands on your left foot with a $300 wedge.

cleveland CG11 are great wedges for higher handicapers. Similar feel to the CG10 but with a cavity back and wider sole. (easier to hit) wider sole helps out of bunkers.
