Was in Fayetteville North Carolina, "Retired Army 82nd out of Ft Bragg",  back to Iowa 10 years ago and took up the insane 4 letter word called GOLF about 8 years ago (2012).  I have to laugh about taking up golf in Iowa when I used to live near by some of the better courses in the US.  Even the public courses near Fayetteville were nice courses.  I currently live 12 miles from a nice little 9 hole course that charges 135.00 for a yearly membership if you live over 10 miles away from the course.  LOL   There are 2 Private and 20-30 Public courses within 50 miles of here.  It's fun going to the different courses.

Started the 1st couple years with a set I put together from Goodwill.  From there, went to a used set of Nike Sasquatch Irons and a used Nike Covert driver.  I've worked on a couple different parts of my game each year and have halfway decent wedge play. Took a few lessons.  Watched a lot of YouTube vids to see what I could learn.  I typically shoot in the mid 90s with my best, so far, being an 84.  I finally decided to invest in some new tech and went and spent, "to me", too much and got pretty much an all new set of clubs set up for me.  Only kept one of the old clubs.  I still have all the Nikes, but will start using the new ones once the courses open back up this spring and see how things go.  My goal for 2020 is to break into the 70s at least once.......... LOL
