  1. I can see my head moving quite a bit not sure how to stop that issue. My flexibility is not to good, had back surgery 15 years ago. I've been Playing Golf for: 25 years on and off My current handicap index or average score is: average score 99 My typical ball flight is: poor contact, I hit it thin, fat or off the toe with the occasional solid straight shot The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Botched Tee Shot Videos:
  2. I use my 7 iron for the bump and run shots if the terrain is fairly smooth. I was about 15 feet off the green after my third shot on a par 4 the other day. The green was mounded up a bit probably a good 3 feet above my feet and the pin about 10 feet into the green. I gave the ball basically a hard putter shot, it went airborne and hit my side of the top of the mound which took most of the steam out of it bounced to the edge of the green rolled toward the cup and then into the cup. I can usually get it close on shots like this but this time it worked out really well. I have not played much in years, where I used to be pretty good with flopping a wedge I'll duff it now so I'm back to what I find is easier for now.
  3. Thanks for the info fellas
  4. What app do you use to get all that info?
  5. I'll usually put it in my bag or in the cart on silent. I really don't like being distracted by my phone. It is always on silent anyway, I check it on occasion and get back to people when I have time. I just can't be bothered every time it blips, blinks, vibrates or rings....
  6. 1. Focus on my swing and not so much on the ball. 2. Keep my left arm from breaking 3. Practice with a purpose and make each ball count 4. Shorten my swing and concentrate on my follow through 5. Don't get frustrated
  7. Thanks Dave
  8. Starting to have some more time again, I have been away from playing for 5 years and played very little over the past 10 years. My Lady has just gotten into golf and taking lessons. I'm working on revamping my swing and hopefully will enjoy playing some of the easier courses in the area. I'm in the Catawba County area. Literally walked out of my old golf shoes the other day...lol...Looks like a great forum, glad to be here.
