Saw it last night, and loved it. Tarantino's humor is so ridiculous that I think its often overlooked. The movie had so many different elements of humor that really made the movie for me. And the cinema sequence was beautiful. "So I lived in the jungle, and came to America in a boat against my will?" "Yes" "Am I the story of the negro in America?" "No." "Then I must be King Kong!"

If I'm in a tourney, and I take a 6 but my scorer asks "you took a 5 there, right?" 9 times out of 10 I'm going to say 'yes.'

Well in the OP's defense, letting a group play though results in spending time waiting, but 7 hours thru 18 holes is absurd

Last weekend, my dad and I went to play a course nearby that I had never played. We paid for a cart and 9 holes, which took nearly 3 hours. We had a group of college kids in front of us that had no idea how to golf, or to let faster players play through. Made me wonder what the ranger was doing instead of kicking these hackers out.

I've been trying, but every time I get something down that seems to work, it stops working or I forget to utilize it.

+1 I'm not a good golfer by any stretch, but i have 'that buddy' who can never hit the ball, and gets a shitty attitude when you try and give him advice. Like the one thread says, you shouldn't be out there trying to coach people, but, god damn, he needs help. I told him he was aiming way right on three holes and by the third one he told me the commentary was getting annoying. So much for trying to help a friend.

I'm just busting your chops. I agree with you, but Tiger, or any other tour pro in the spotlight, is expected to do better than 3, 4, 5 over. Throw multi-million dollar endorsements in the equation, and 4 over is looking worse and worse.

I'm sorry, but the truth is, 4 over in a tournament for players of Tiger, or Phil-caliber is terrible. Tiger played horrendously at Hazeltine..

seems like a good place to make my first post. i dont drive the ball very long, which has been accentuated by the slice ive developed. that being said, i hit a tee shot a well under 200 today, and left an approach shot at about 160-170. pulled the five wood and hit the green, only GIR all day. pretty pumped. but as i started my long birdie putt i received a text message, which completely took me out of focus, and ended up three-putting.
