Dymo2 STR8 Chart ?
Ash1974 replied to cape cod beachfront golfer's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
http://thesandtrap.com/forum/thread/34075/need-str8-fit-instruction-manual As for your questions, as said closing the face will increase the loft and opening the face will decrease the loft. As for distance, this will vary due to conditions but as a general rule, most shots to the right will de shorter as will a lower shot (although a lower shot will be better in windy conditions) as it will have less carry, but may roll out longer on dry & firm fairways. Depends on the person hitting the ball, but with me if I hit a ball left it always goes further. -
I always walk, recently switched to a trolley from Carrying though and while I am in good shape this has made a massive difference to my game so far, just seem fresher coming up the stretch. So if you have not walked for 15 years then a trolley is a must I say

Just read this, this bloke needs to get with the times.. Yeah Rickie is new and fresh and while I am not into the "rappers/motocross hat" he hardly walks around all scruffy looking like a tramp, even if he wears bright orange he still look smart and well presented. If this idiot also thinks that Rickie is all the US PGA has to offer as a replacement for Tiger then he know nothing about the game, maybe his next subscription should be Gardeners World!

What's the best scrambling par you've ever made?
Ash1974 replied to Todd Ruggere's topic in Golf Talk
About 3 rounds ago, 401 yard par 4. It was raining quite heavy and I slipped on the tee box at impact, with 3 wood and duffed it about 20 yards into long rough in front of junior tee box. It was sitting kinda high in the grass so decided to hack it out with my hybrid, caught it well but ended up in right rough about 115 from the green, hit a pure sky wedge that landed about 30 foot from pin and drained the left to right down hill breaker for par. Hole aint over till it is over man -
Mizuno Bags - Kabuki Top

Cheers :) -
"shoulder subacromial decompression via arthroscopy" This is what I was due to have done December just gone, but for several reasons (not in as much pain, wife being made redundant, parents away in OZ so no child care) I put it off for now. Doc said though that it would be 6-8 weeks before I could play golf again.

Mizuno Bags - Kabuki Top
Ash1974 replied to Ash1974's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Thanks man -
Have done a search and cannot find anything with any reply's. I am after a replacement for my Nike SQ Carry Bag as it has torn by the 4 ball holder where it meets the strap, it is over two years old so no refund etc. I have the Ping cart bag and trolley but don't want the hassle of the cart all the time, so have been looking at lightweight carry bags with enough dividers. Anyone have a Mizuno bag with the Kabuki top divider, if so I am curious how you have your clubs in it, pics would be great guys :) It looks similar to the other bag I am looking at, Ogio and their Woode?

Deleted Threads (Oops: My Post was Merged)
Ash1974 replied to Ash1974's topic in Announcements & Tech Support
Aye I did search as said, but for Mo Norman and not Moe hence nothing found so I posted a new thread. Surely you could automate it though, I have seen it on other forums, where the origianl thread that is removed or merged remains but with a strike through for 24hrs and if you click the link it takes you to a thread deleted page of the thread it has been moved/merged to? For now then I will check mye "Post By User" until (if it is a bug) it shows up in "All Recent Activity" which is my start page to see if anyone has posted in my threads or threads I have posted in, before I go browsing through the forums. -

Quote: Cheers Jamo, guess I searched for Mo Norman instead of Moe Norman and that is why I did not find any threads before posting it Still at least I now know why it was merged, but does no one think it would be a good idea for some form of notification? this coudl be just a PM stating your thread has been deleted/moved/merged. Also it no longer shows under My Profile and All Recent Activity which I would assume it should if it has been merged as it is still a valid post? -

Glad I am not the only one Thats the thing mate, I searched for Mo Norman and went through the 4 odd pages and found no threads titled Mo Norman, so what am I meant to do, look at every page of each thread in case he is mentioned in one of them? I don't think so some how. Hopefully I will get a reason for my post being deleted from one of the mods, instead of just having to accept that if they delete one it was done because it broke "one" of the rules. -
Hey there guys, I have had a few threads removed over the last couple of months, every time I have ask Erik about it he said it must have been a moderator that removed due to it breaking a rule and that we don't log why posts are deleted (just at the discretion of the moderators) thing is I never post anything that I see as outside the rules and think all my threads to be valid and within the forum rules. As there is no record of why some of my threads get deleted I will never know what I am doing wrong? other forums I am on, you get a mail stating that your post was deleted and by whome, which I think this forum is missing. So as an example I posted a thread about Mo Norman, entitled "THE MOST AMAZING GOLFER THE WORLD HAS NEVER SEEN." with a link to a video on YouTube and some basic stats about his career. This was posted in the "Golf Talk" forum and on checking today the post has gone. So in an attempt to find out what I seem to be doing wrong, can the moderator that binned this post please let me know why? Cheers in advance guys

What do you think of this golf grip for curing the "Hole in the glove"
Ash1974 replied to jfrain2004's topic in Golf Talk
Yep I used to hold it like the pic on the right and always wore a hole in my glove, now hold it like the pic on the left and gloves last much longer -

I am trying to add items to my bag but it is saying that "That item is already in your list. Please edit the item below instead." yet in edit mode it only shows the two items I have added already? yet in my sig it shows I have 6 items? How do I add back in the items I removed that the forum still thinks are there please?

Well I played my 1st round of 2011 on Sunday, in fact I had not played for last 8 weeks of 2010 due to snow here in UK. 2nd time out with the MP52s as well and I shot an 88, which matches my low round of the year (been a stop and start one with injury and freak weather interruptions) so was well chuffed 44 (36) front and 44 (34) back so nice and consistent, was on for breaking my lowest score on this course (86 on Par 70) but I had a plugged greenside bunker shot (half berried up against face) after a bad bounce off the green on the 15th Par 3 and took a 6 which was a shame, but still great to play to your handicap after such a stop and start 2010
