Yep only gripe of mine is the signatures, mine was all coloured and laid out how I liked it (sad I know) but I like that it gave a personal touch, now it don't fit right and you can't even change the font/size/colour of the text? Apart from that it looks a little bulky but I will get used to it once it speeds up :-)

For my Birthday (Dec 10th) I am getting my Ping Pioneer LT Cart bag off my mother and sister, OK had it already but that's another story, plus an evening out off the Wife. For Crimbo I am having money towards my MotorCaddy Push Cart, Ok, OK, I have had that already as well LOL. Plus and a golf towel and some bits an bobs off the kids, a new Trion-Z bracelet off the SIL and cash of others to but some golf balls. Oh and I treated my self to a set of MP52s (2nd hand but as new)

Lot to be said for this, I used to slice my driver and woods but not irons, switched to stiff shafts in my driver and woods and no more slice

I had my Ping Redwood custom fitted, used the Ping Fitting putter that has all the lies and length adjustable so you can get it set right. My fitting for this was 34" long and Blue Dot (1deg up)

Well I picked the MP52's up tonight, when the guy said they were mint he was not wrong, they look new, not even a bag clatter mark Gonna have to change the grips though as they are miles too big for me LOL Gonna find a range tomorrow after work (I am away from home for the week with work) and see how they hit and see if I need to get anything taken of the shaft when I get them re-gripped. Did not know that the 4-7 irons have a cavity in them either?

Just to note that the .60 all seem to be Golf Pride New Decade Multicompound ? Are these drips .60 by default then?

I have been looking at grips for my new (to me) MP52's as they have midsize ones on and I want standard size. Now when I have bought grips before I have always got .58 (ribbed or round) but when looking recently I saw .60 as well (more on Ebay than in online shops) What will I need for my MP52's? I have Lambkin Crossline blacks .58 round on my i15's and was going to fit the same to the 52's, will they be OK?

They are not stock clubs though are they if they are 2deg up and 1" longer shaft, they are custom, so maybe they adjust the swing weight based on this customisation?

I hear ya, but I can get grips for £3-5 each including fitting and they will not charge me much to cut the shaft butt down, so that will be way less than I could get a set of second hand DSG S300 shafts for and get them fitted properly, even then the swing weight would change anyway, if it will at all, as you said

Not spending anymore cash on shafts lol, I want to get them re-gripped anyway so will speak to the club fitter at my pro shop about him cutting them so they are .25" long when they do the grips.

Anyone? I could always grip down when I use them, but I guess this would have the same affect on swing weight etc as cutting .75" off the shaft?

Well I won them, £210 I cannot wait to hit these, I am going to pick them up from the seller as he lives near where I am working next week. Cheers for you help folks.

In short the "i" irons are "players" and G are GI, I would go for what ever suits you, but if your looking for forgiveness then the G will give you more than the i :)

Got to agree, I follow Paula on Twitter and some pics she posts of herself (out of her pink golf get up) she looks stunning, nice and natural Paula for me.

I have a question, I am bidding on some MP52's and they are 2deg up and 1" longer than standard with mid-size grips. Now the 2deg up is fine for me (3deg up and .25" long is my Ping fitting) but I only need .25" long so I am planning (if I win the auction) to get them re-gripped to standard size grips, whilst doing this I was gonna get the length cut by .75" on all the shafts so they would all be .25" (quarter inch) long. Will this affect the swing weight or mess anything up?

I have pain in my left wrist, I stopped going to the range recently as I was happy with my game and wanted to just play on the course, I then realised I had not had any wrist pain for a while I went on the range to work on something this week and the pain has returned slightly, so I think mine is an impact injury due to the fact we only have mats at the local range I use.
