  1. The clothes hanger works fine for a few swings. If you hit a lot of balls your hands become fatigued (even cramp) from having to grip both the club and the hanger. Also, you tend to wear a blister on your non glove hand because the clothes hanger, when molded, leaves a sharp edge on the bottom. I’m also afraid it leads to tension in your arms when swinging because of the added grip pressure. The use of the Watson Golf hanger just allows you to use your normal grip.
  2. Has anyone used a training grip with The Hanger? Just wondering if it will fit on the grip properly. I’m wanting to get a couple of training grips and put them on a couple of my old irons to use on the range during training sessions. I’m struggling with squaring the face at contact so I tend to cast my hands and/or change my grip to try and get the club back to square. Thanks for any help!
  3. The big difference is lower spin off the middle irons (which will give you a few extra yards) and a lower trajectory off the driver and fairway woods. Not sure if those 2 things make it worth while changing from a ProV1, since te price point is the same. If you’re going to drop $48 bucks a dozen, you might as well get the “#1 ball in golf”. Just my 2¢.
  4. We are struggling for a quality golf store here in Northwest Arkansas (one of the fastest growing parts of the country). The TRU that closed had an awesome location. Wish PGASS would snag that baby up!

  6. Are you getting too steep? I had this problem early in the season.
  7. Staying on plane with my irons (butt of the club pointing at the ball through the takeaway) alla the Golf Laser: Butch Harmon Golf Laser Trainer . Also finishing my driver swing down the target line trying to eliminate so many pull hooks. Playing really well right now though. In the single digit handicap area and ball striking is very very good. Need to hit more fairways though.
  8. I'm thinking the shoes are due to the knee injury. They look like a regular pair of Nike running shoes.
  9. 1. Get my handicap in the single digits 2. Be more consistent in my swing 3. Spend more time practicing 4. Improve my short game (chipping & putting) 5. Play in more tournaments!!
  10. Shot 75 Sunday for a personal best. Have only playing seriously again for 2 months after a 3 year layoff. Made 4 birdies and boogied the last hole after liping out a 12 foot par putt. Bombing my driver and short games was spot on. I was pleased!
  11. Dang thats cool! It has to be distracting to fellow players though. I bet the PGA looks at this a little bit before it gets too out of hand.
  12. Same thing happened to me on my last round. Played prettty good the front 9 (40 i think) then the wheels came off on the back nine. Everything was dead right and I didnt have a clue how to fix it. Sometimes it just goes that way. But, I made a birdie on 18 so now I cant wait to get back. Thats golf!
  13. I was wondering the same thing about the golf schools. I'm a coach and I have a few weeks off in the summer and I was curious about what was the best way to spend that time, golf wise, to improve my game. I thought golf school was a good choice. Now maybe not. Whats a better alternative?
  14. You're getting too steep. I would bet that on your miss hits that you tend to hosel shots occasionally or hit a low fade. Work on the swing arch and flattening the swing a little. Not bad though bro.
  15. I try to keep my head as still as possible and try not to rotate my hips too quickly on my down swing. If your hands lag behind your hips (and it will be worse if you swing harder as you say you've tried) then shots will go low right.
