Over the past month I switched from hitting a large bucket and machine gunning my balls to getting a small bucket and making each shot count. I will pick a target do my pre shot routine take a break then repeat. Then I follow this by 30 minutes chipping/pitching and 30 minutes putting. My scores have gone from 105-110 area to high 90s in just a month.
51/48 to finally break 100! If I could only putt. (I had six 3 putts today) I would be on the verge of breaking 90. One goal down and its not even march!
46/48 played a local nine hole course, hit the ball the well. Just couldn't putt to save my life. Hasnt rained in 3 days nice to see the ball bounce again.
Yeah on my iphone under notepad I write down everything I should remember. Then I review it before I go to the range and practice. This is my first true season of golf and i'm going to make the best of it! I love everything about this silly game!
I've been going about every 10-14 days. With about 5 range sessions and a round of 18 and round of 9.... Seems to be about perfect for me. Then every night I work on the drills he gave me.
Just curious this will be my first real golf season. From spring till the end of fall and just curious to how much I can improve, So I wanted to hear your guys stories on the most you have ever improved in one season.
108 getting closer to breaking into double digits!!! beautiful day 55 sunny not common around here this time of year, and first time swinging a club in 2 plus weeks!
Came back with a 46 today after my lowest 44 yesterday, felt good. Putting killed me 20 putts in 9 holes. I believe after I actually invest some time in putting I will be able to shoot under 40 =]
