A fake Nickent club ? Who in the world with any brain left would do that ?

I would swith to a different lower loft head to try. This is one of the benefit of those adjustable driver. Why not use it ? The I-Mix head is cheap as well.

Nickent makes quality stuff before they are out of business. Their hybrid is one of the best in the industry. I never play the 3DX hybrid iron set but have played the 3DX Pro, 4DX Pro and 4DX CB and still have a set of ARC blades as my backup. They are all great clubs. For a beginner, This is a good set to start.

I have to agree with you on those 3M grips. LOL. I have play Nickent clubs exclusively the last couple years. I have try them all 3DX Pro to 4DX CB to 4DX Pro to ARC blade. I just sold my 4DX pro and 4DX CB last month and about to sell the 3DX. The 3DX Pro and 4DX CB are similar in forgiveness but the 4DX CB have more offset. 4DX Pro and ARC are forged with very little to none offset and less forgiven. I don't like 3DX RC line as much as the other Nickent irons.

There is no rain after 3 pm yesterday when we play bethpage. Even had some sunshine during the round. The courses are like half empty and never seen that few people before. We finished our round under 4 hours walking which is a record for me. No bad.

Finally I can swing my chicken stick in Augusta National. How cool is that. POW !!

Looking at this way, it is not like they have unlimited mulligans. 2 for each man is reasonable. If you make a whole bunch of great shots then they can not call back every one of them after they run out of mulligans. It is like the challenge call in the NFL, you have to use the red flag wisely. Great shot by the way.

The head is hot. But the stock SR3 shaft is weak. I switched mine with V2 and it became a bomber ever since.

I got the exact same unit and are very happy with it. It do not have the pinseeker function so it require a static hand to use which I happen to have. As long as you know where to point then it is quiet easy to point, shoot and get the yardage. It also have a scan mode which you can look at the green and it give you all the yardage around it which it is helpful for me. Sure you can spend extra money to get all the other whistle and bells, but this one do the job for me which is get me the distant.

Where is the range ? I don't even know there is such thing in Long Island.

It is the caffeine in the Dew. I usually take a can of coke to the course and drink it at the turn to keep me up for the back 9 and I always play better in the back.

Try the Frogg Toggs chilly pad. It will keep you cool & dry.

Since Golfsmith just gave away lots of their driver after the Master, maybe Callaway is too busy to fill the orders and their quality control is down a little bit.

+1 for the Nickent 4DX Evolver I was in the same boat last year with the fixed version of 4DX driver. Everybody over the internet was telling me that the 4DX head is top rated but the stock UST SR3 shaft is bad. So I made the jump to Evolver with the V2 shaft. The difference is really night and day. Now I can try all the shafts with different brand, flex to suit my game. Since Nickent went under, the price is pretty cheap and you can get the evolver with a couple shafts for under $100. I am stocking up shafts and even heads right now so I can have my driver taken care of for the next several seasons.

Put the trial version on my HTC last year, fancy interface but crashed on the first tee. Never use again. Intelligolf is more stable.

Like FHopper said, I got exactly the non-revolver version of the clip-lok bag. It have all the fancy features except the turning top and it is much lighter. IMO, it is much better than the revolver. I love it.

Obviously I am biased to Nickent. As I start to learn golf I don't want to spend a lot of money to buy the expensive big name clubs that may not fitted for me and maybe fake if you purchase via the internet. When I first got my hands on a Nickent club, I was surprised how good the Nickent performed against the big boys. Nickent provide a line up of quality products on a great price and you don't have to worry about the fake stuff. I was completely sold. Sadly they can not survive in this economic enviorment but I still love their stuffs. I am stocking up their clubs because it is so cheap right now.

My vote is Nickent and in fact My clubs are nothing but Nickent already.

Good thing I pull the trigger early when they sell 4DX pro for 140 w/ free shipping. I was debating if the price will drop further in Black Friday at the time.

Ever since I got my 3dx square driver, I fell in love with Nickent and their clubs were getting in bag one after another. The next thing you know my bag are completely taken by Nickent. So bad they are going under. It is time to stock up their clubs now and I just got a set of 4DX pro cheap from rockbottom.
