  1. best of luck!
  2. I know this is Shotly prizes, but I coulnd't' find their grab bag thread. I've been quiet this whole time, but I bought one of the grab bags and never received anything in the mail. I would have been content with getting some tees, ball catcher, polo shirt, etc and not said anything. However this his how it went down: Sept 9: ordered Sept 26: Email saying its on the way Oct 4: Emailed matt he said its shipped and I should receive it no later than Thursday (Oct 6) Oct 11: Haven't gotten it. Emailed matt and got a response saying 10 people are in the same boat, haven't received their package. He'd have an update for me in the evening. Oct 13: No update, so I email him back. He said he could give me a refund. I said OK! Oct 14: No refund yet, emailed him again....no response. So I open a paypal dispute. Ugh.
  3. +1
  4. Nope, thats not how it works. If you did that, you would only be trying to hit the upper half of the face of the club (which isn't ideal in any case). However, if you purchased a club with negative offset (is that technically correct??) then yes, you can shave off the front. A club such as this: http://www.rockbottomgolf.com/f2-golf-face-forward-plus-wedge.html#
  5. I'm 25 and use a cart! I have had a history of back problems so using a cart definitely helps. I have the one-click tour trek from Golfsmith. I bought it for 150, but its been lowered to 120. Its a great cart and very comparable to the clicgear 3.0. I highly recommend it: http://www.golfsmith.com/products/306575/Tour_Trek/One-Click_Collapsible_Push_Cart
  6. Looks good to me. I have the x-forged wedges and I love them. also, good luck on the GMAT. I just got done taking them a few months ago
  7. to be honest, i'm not good enough to get mad at myself/the club/course when I don't perform well. If I hit a bad shot/miss a putt, I just think to myself "...meh, thats about right"
  8. Thanks everyone for all the information. I'm gonna try and get ahold of a better camera and will post an update when I get a chance!
  9. Hey jshots, Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to understand your post a little better - so draws have an "inside" plane and fades have an "outside" plane? What you suggest is to keep my clubhead pointed at the plane as long as I can...but that helps on the backswing. Is there a tip I could use on the downswing? It FEELS like i'm keeping the backswing and downswing on the same plane, but obviously im' not haha. Thanks!
  10. Ha sorry. I updated it - you should be able to view them now. Thanks!
  11. Hey Guys, Sorry about the crappy videos, but its the best I got for now. I'm looking for general advice on my swing. My misses are usually right (slice) and fat. I've been self teaching over the past year or so and am currently working on keeping centered over the ball and my head still. Thanks a lot!

Ooh good question. A bit off topic, but I'm playing there in 2 weeks. What did you think - was it your first time?

    NBA Final

As a Chicagoan, I'm rooting for the Mavs. I'm a fan of Wade (chicago native) but I can't stand how Lebron plays, acts, flops, etc. Never really been a fan of Dirk, but he's always been so consistent and is a great player without a championship ring. Rose is only going to get better. I question some of his decisions and the overall coaching down the stretch, but give him a few years and he'll be one of the elite (hopefully clutch) players in the NBA. Anyone else notice how Rose missed the ft down at the game and how it mirrors the 2008 championship?
  17. I had to look that up. And it looks awesome.
  18. Apparently KJ Choi is donating 200k to help the tornado victims here in the US! How about some American players do the same eh??? http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=6563363
  19. Forget all those! Get the Wilson Di11s. Wow I hit them for the first time today and am converted. I currently play the Callaway x22s and I can say the Di11s are wayyy more forgiving. You can get a brand new set on ebay for 310 shipped, and send them in to Wilson where they'll adjust the lie and length for you for 40 bucks!
  20. Hm interesting. So i guess the only way is to paint them silver/gray huh?
  21. Hm yeah, I hadn't thought about that part. Yes, my x22s show wear cuz of the shiny chrome, but its all worn/dull now anyway, so no biggie :) I went out at the beginning of this year and numerous sets of irons, but still like my x22s the best. Just not a fan of the shiny blue back of them.
  22. Hey guys, I was wondering if tehre's anyway to take off the badge and the gaudyness of the x22. Anyone done this before? Thanks!
  23. Hey Guys, I have a brand new Garmin Approach S1 GPS golf watch for sale. Got it as a gift - I can put up pics tonight, but its just a box. 24. I won them and got them shipped to me. TGW will only give me store credit and I don't need anything golf related. Acutally i just called TGW and they wont even give me store credit. They'll buy them back from me for $370 lol. Brand new.
  25. Hello, I'm about to pull the trigger on a used Sun Mountain V1 push cart and was wondering if stand bags work on it? I realize there are no straps on this cart, but would stand bags work? Thanks!
