What is it? I noticed when I clean my groves sometimes I peel some of it out...

Just wondering how do u use the bounce of a wedge if u take a heavy divot?
-
Thanks I'm gonna try that

Club selection for Par 3 211 yards

I have a 4 and a 5 hybrid.. I still have a 4i and a 5i. I use hybrids out of the rough if i don't have a clean shot at the ball. I would never use one out of the fairway far better control with a iron. -
Wondering how swing differs from a PW? I can't seem to trap the ball with a high lofted club and if I do hit down and pinch it to the ground the trajectory is to low! I can play it more forward but I feel like I picking it off the ground and hardly take a divot. Just don't know how to hit them properly and don't wanna pick or scoop em off the ground.

Thanks for any response

Hell, I suck and I could beat him with 4 shots

So if u "grip up an inch" how close is ur thumb to the end of the grip?

Is there anything wrong with this? I choke down on all my irons and hybrids.... I still get 160yd 8i for instance. It just helps me feel tall over the ball and helps me with control. Also it encourages a more decending blow creating alot of backspin... Is there anything wrong with my thinking in theory

86! I was 1 over after 8 holes..then I had a triple bogey on 9, and then things just got worse. They just done some work to the greens so putting was a bit of a challenge but I was happy with my final score.

Scores getting worse after lessons
wildcorndog replied to ffemtp's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
I think this must happen to everyone after a lesson. I've spent what seems like 100,000,000 over the past few months. I was going a little left with my irons but I was also way long with them.. With a camera I found out that my clubface was closed at impact because of my hands being so far ahead of my club head at impact! So I looked at my grip at address what I found was I had a very strong grip because of my tendency to go right so I got a more neutral grip now I'm just long but realitivley strait.... I -
My divots change dramaticly with the type of shot I'm playing. if I'm trying to get a sw to go 100yds and come back 10ft then I have the feeling of driving the ball into the ground and pull up a hefty divot.... But on other shots from the same club "flop" I take almost no divot.. The point is concentrate on hitting the ball first then even if u take a heavy divot the ball will still go a mile. I call it hitting down

U guys are making me feel ashamed to say how far I hit it.

When I started I was like that every 4th or 5th shot would be great. About 2 years i was about 50% now i've been at 70% for almost a year. I guess consistency is relative to how consistent ur other clubs are but almost 3 out of 4 ain't bad... Now I ain't sayin 3 out of 4 fairways I'm just sayin it may go past a dogleg into the woods... Or it may be a little in the rough to either side but still a great shot for me anyway. I'm a much better driver then alot of really good golders I play with. By the way I'm not overly strong

I have a iron video on here I was struggling at the time though... I'll try to get a driver swing on here.. I carry it about 285 I would say but It always ends up over 300. I measure by yardage markers and my golflogix. U have to understand I'm not a 60 year old man I'm quite flexible and a athlete to boot. Sounds like penis envy... Just sayin
-
I think you guys would be suprised... Wish I could film it for u. I hit a par 4 in one twice now, honestly I have no reason to lie or even talk about my driving distance. My question was about swing plane.
-
i could hit my driver great (300) very consistent.......however my irons suck i cant even hit a pitching wedge! then all of a sudded just out of no where i start killin my irons and i can also spin a ball like a wizard! bad news is everytime this happens i lose my driver! it has to be the difference in swingplane. I dont know how to use a flater swing on my driver while keeping my irons steep.............

Well it's a country club we pay a flat rate every month and most live right on the course so they just drive thier carts home. Still I don't like it
-
I hate playing with someone who will just leave after a few holes if they r not shooting right at thier handicap! I can't belive how many people do this at my country club! It's so annoying I always make plans to play with 3 or 4 guys and I'm lucky to finish with 1.

I hit a Taylormade tour burner 9.5*. I tee the ball very low the top of the ball is just above the club head maybe even under! I have a great trajectory if I get a good shot, but I struggle with either hitting the ground first or driving the ball into the ground about 6" infront of my tee... If I tee it up I seem to hit it to high.... Hmmmmmmmm
-
What do u guys do to control the distance on different shots especially pitch shots? For instance I hit my PW 115 but if I wanted to go 100 I have trouble. I have been trying choking down on the club some with good results but just wanted to see what everyone else does

should my left shoulder be facing the target? tring to figure out if im pulling my irons or if im lined up wrong
