I guess it depends on the club. The forged irons that I had were the Snake Eyes 685x. They dinged up so easy, the way the faces were looking after one season there is no way they would have lasted more than 2 seasons....

I disagree. The forged irons that I playedfor one season were in worse shape than my cast irons that I've had for almost a decade..

Anyone else prefer cast clubs because of their durability? I had a set of forged irons last year, and they just got wayyy to beat up for my liking. There is a difference in feel, but it doesn't really affect my game.

I don't think so buddy, you'd be suprised.....I'm also confident in this: the ratio of people using alcohol-people abusing alcohol is worse than it is for marijuana.....

If you think you can play golf without golf shoes, then your not getting all your power into the swing....

Why do people keep saying garbage like this. NO ONE IS ARGUING THE FACT THAT WEED HAS NO EFFECT. People are just trying to point out the fact that it's not nearly as harmful as people make it out to be and is not that different than alcohol in terms of legality. I'm going to be honest, I don't know the numbers, but I will flat out GUARANTEE that more people are hurt by alcohol than by weed...

The Scotty I owned was a pro platinum. The thing that really put me over the edge was the weight. There is nothing wrong with the Scotty, I was in love with the thing until I picked up the Redwood for the first time. It just feels so smooth with my stroke.

Where did you get them? Golf clubs with crappy assembly jobs are counterfeit alot of the time....

I just tried it, it's nearly physically impossible to swing a golf without rotating the club face. If you do, your gonna look like a jack@$$ and there's no way you can get any power.

A little bit of you making the shot? It's ALL you buddy.....If your friends aren't out there hitting fades, draws, punch shots, etc then they should be playing SGI clubs too. I've played players clubs, I can work the ball if I need too, but I've found that gets me thinking too much. I play my best golf when I focus on hitting the ball straight, that's why I play GI clubs....

That's the point I am trying to make. Yeah the weed people get here is soaked in blood, but that's because it's illegal and have no choice. If it was legal, we could harvest it ourselves and even sell it in pharmacies, then it would be no different than tobacco...

I never said it was harmLESS, just no worse than some of the other stuff that's legal in this country. Of course it's not good for you and does harm to you. Cocaine and opium may start with a plant, but if your buying it I guarantee there have been chemicals added. Who cares how many fatalities those have caused, we're talking about how many weed has caused. As for your habituation and depression, OF COURSE! Cigarettes/alcohol= habit forming, and for those who rely on it, it's probably depressing if you have to quit. It's not my problem that there are people out there that don't have any will power. All I am trying to say plain and simple is that: A) Marijuana can't be lumped in with drugs like cocaine, meth, and whatnot. It's not anywhere near as powerful or dangerous. It's a gateway drug, that may be true, but like I said it's not my problem that people don't have will power. B) I'm not even sure that I am trying(or wanting) to argue that weed should be legal. All I am saying is if you look at it compared to alcohol, it's not anywhere close to as bad as people make it out to be.

Am I the only one that finds all of this mechanics talk just messes up their swing? I have to go by feel and what is natural, and I've done pretty well with that. If I start thinking about where my takeaway needs to be, different positions in my swing, and loading/unloading....I don't stand a chance....I know I'm doing those things, but if i make a concious effort to work on them things go haywire real fast. My only thought is the ball and where I want it to go...

You made my point for me. Yeah, he's one of the weakest golfers on tour, but he's still a professional and doesn't hit it 300 yards. Those are the longest guys on tour averaging just a handful of yards over 300, yet these amateurs are consistantly going over 300? Riiiiight.....And the tour average is only 286, but us 5-10 handicappers easily hit it 300? Sorry...no...

Your going to take a club out of your bag so that you can keep a club just for hitting off rocks? or do you not have a full bag? or do you plan on carrying 15 clubs? Just curious....

If YOU heard that Wilson Golf has an opening, and it's what YOU always wanted to do, and YOU have a lot of experience....I would think that YOU would know how to apply?

Like I said, the only reason marijuana is involved with the cartels and whatnot is because it's illegal. If marijuana is legal, the cartels will have no business in it. And the same goes for weed putting you in touch with people who will steer you towards "stronger stuff". If it's legal, you can go to the pharmacy with your grandma and buy it. All of the negative connotation with marijuana comes from the fact that it's illegal. If it had been legal for the last 20 years, you wouldn't associate pot smoking with loser hippies or your white trash neighbors and you'd realize it isn't any more harmful than alcohol is(probably even less so).....
