I ordered the S&T; book today. I've been taking lessons from a PGA instructor and just don't feel that I'm making the overall progress that I should. He keeps talking about timing and release and I just am not getting it. He changed my grip and my stance and I just don't feel that comfortable. I used to play golf years ago, and I don't feel that I'm any better now, then I was then.

I think some of you are getting worked up over nothing. LPGA needs an audience, or there's no LPGA. SVT, you said yourself, you only watch when your wife does. Having a more feminine dress code helps to attract more viewers. I happen to like the way they women dress. I can't wear a skirt that short, but more power to them, if they can.

I would definitely have her work with a pro. I've taken lessons from 2 different pros and neither had a problem working with my swing.

My husband and I used to play together, before we stopped playing. He was my favorite playing partner. I'm just now getting back into golf, so I don't know if he's going to start playing again or not. I hope he does.

Hello, and welcome from another newbie! Normally, I think the advice would be to go and hit as many different clubs as you can. Being left handed and female, that limits your choices a lot, I think. I don't know which boxed set would be better, what did the pro shop say? As far as the difference between your borrowed 6 iron and the new clubs, I don't think at this stage of your swing, you probably won't notice a difference.

Here in Central California the economy is still struggling. Very few jobs available and new construction, both industrial/commercial and residential is way down.

I haven't played in a few years, but just going to the range at my local course lately, I've noticed how slow it is. Steady, but slow. I'm about 45 minutes south of the courses in the article.

I've been posting here and there, and I thought I should introduce myself. I haven't played golf in at least 6 years and just recently started missing the game. My husband used to play with me and I don't know if he's going to start up again. I've been going to the range and will probably take a lesson or two before I hit the course, so as not to make other players too crazy. I hope to not be a pest here, but will probably have lots of questions. I've been using the search feature a lot to make myself familiar with the site.

My husband had 2 Primo ceramic grills. Similar to the BGE, but oval shaped. The Primo XL has more grill surface than the BGE. He's had the grills for about 3 years now and loves them.
