  1. Congratulations! I'm by no means a scratch golfer, but I am a scratch bowler and I remember how good it felt to finally say that. Now the hard part is keeping it there...Good Luck!
  2. Golfsmith said Callaway's new stuff isn't coming out until mid-March... How can you get one next week? I'm intrigued haha.
  3. Why does everyone mention the equipment they used? Does that truly make a difference to how great they are compared to everyone else on tour at the same time? Bobby Jones won using the equipment everyone else was using at the time. Same with Jack, same with Tiger. I don't think you can honestly make a good comparison between the three, because everyone is biased. My dad grew up watching Jack, and thus favors Jack when we talk about it. I've watched Tiger, and I favor Tiger. Two things I throw at my dad when we discuss it is that Tiger grew up learning in the late 70's and 80's, using the same equipment that Jack used. I don't think Tiger would have been at a great disability if they were forced to use old equipment. Another thing is that I think the average professional these days might be slightly better than that of the 70's because of all the childhood training and such, and many have referred to Tiger as "simply better than us." I don't think you would catch Johnny Miller or Tom Watson in an interview talking about how much better Jack is than them. But that's all for arguments sake, because I really don't think there can be a true comparison. They were all great at different times of the game. It would be interesting to see what Bobby Jones would have done if he had ever turned professional and went at the game full time. Just something to think about.
  4. Does anyone know how much the current Sasquatch will go down in price when the SUMO's are released? I'm thinking about upgrading and I want to know if there is going to be any real difference in price...maybe $200? If there isn't gonna be much of a change then I might as well get the SUMO. Thank you for your time.
  5. Dave Pelz...his Phil-biased hype before the PGA annoyed the mess out of me. Every time I see his commercial for that 3-point ball or whatever it is I cringe.
  6. I would have to agree with the U.S. Open. It is so much fun watching them fight the course and the course win. Oh and listening to them complain...I love it. It's like listening to my dad and his friends haha!
  7. I'm looking into getting a new putter, and the Nike Unitized Retro seems very appealing to me. I haven't read any reviews on it yet, so I was wondering, has anyone tried it?
  8. hmm...I suppose I posted more than one question... I would have to agree on the "sweater zeppelins" haha
  9. Hello! This is my first post in the forum. One question, if Bri won then why is she on Big Break VII? Did she not do anything with her exemptions? Has she even competed on the Duramed Futures Tour after the Big Break VI was recorded? Sorry, but her being in the Big Break VII just raised so many questions for me... She played good however, and I hope she makes it, although it did not appear that she has the mental game or the control of her emotions to make it in the big tour IMO.
