All I can is: TIM THOMAS!!!!!!
-
For me the inconsistency has reached a new level recently and Im considering some time off of playing and doing individual tasks alone for some time. IE Chipping only, then Putting only, Then Driver Only etc... Example last time I played. 250yd drive middle fairway. Next shot, top the golfball. Shot 3 chip it on. Shot 4 scuff the putt. Shot 5 horridly dissapointing bogey.... And its like that on every hole. Good shot Bad Shot, Good Shot Bad Shot....

So apparently he's been living in a multimillion dollar mansion compound right outside of a Pakistani military base and one of their top military schools. The 6 year old compound has been just sitting there with no TV, Internet or Phone lines and no1 from the crack Pakistani military decided it was a good idea to knock and see who was living there. I mean a million dollar compound kinda sticks out in a neighborhood full of mud huts... I smell a rat.

I was thinking about starting this exact same thread. Ive started doing a bit of a backyard chipping drill that is harder than it looks but has allready paid off on the course for me. I have clothesline pole in my yard that is the shape of a "T". Its about 8 feet ft tall. I place the ball 6-8ft behind it and with my 60* LB I work on lobbing balls up and over the top part of the "T" shape as if it were like kicking a field goal but yet having the ball land having only traveled a few feet actually past the clothesline pole. So your basically just working a nice smooth lobbing motion with good contact to eliminate skulling balls around the green when a lob is necessary.

Well if this doesnt have "Im a mature normal 22 year old" written all over it I dont know what does .......
-
That is awesome! Rules question: If he had walked over towards the green and dropped the ball out of his pantleg into the cup would've a been a hole out?
-
Wow.... You are clueless. Its land that requires an entire crew of 6-12 guys(at the low end) and VERY EXPENSIVE Machines used 5-6days a week to maintain, that costs alot of money and alot of effort. Some of us value and appreciate the work and effort that goes into that "Flat Land" you dont even care about. Why dont you just bring your sticks and balls to a valley somewhere and start wacking balls around in a field tell me how much fun that is..

I thought this was going to be a cool thread When I was younger and working at a golf course. We used to sneak onto the other course right down the street from us and hang out on the 13-14th green and tee boxes after dark and drink and party out there. Sometimes write something taunting with the rake in the sandtrap and sign it with our courses initials. Stealing aint cool though bro, a cop might show up not a ranger. Plus good luck if you cut someone off and didnt pay . Im only 23 but you sound immature even to me....

What a way to waste a college education. Wananananana

Video not working man I want to see that thing in action. The picture acutally made me lol

If a ball lasts 18holes it becomes a "lucky ball" and I put it in with my other lucky balls and save those for when ill be playing in some sort of competetion.

I just bought a new driver for 35$. The Callaway Big Bertha 460cc with a brand new Graffaloy ProLaunch and Callaway grip put on it. Ive never bought any new golf equipment unless it was open box or something. Ive got the record for the amount of money ive spent on golf gear (minus rounds played) and its less than 500$ total life time.

Great Series. Was absolutely epic 3 OT Games won by the B's???? Cant say the habs didnt put up an amazing fight. TBH Ernest the Habs have a few players that are going to be a force for years Subban, Price, Calamari. Scary how good those 3 were good luck next year! Enjoy hitting those links. Horton is now Mr.Clutch.

Not so much the Automatic penalties. Like the Bergeron Delay and the Siedenberg slash. Did you watch the game? Did you see Carey Price Dive when Bergeron didnt even touch him? How about Horton stealing the puck for a breakaway and being stopped midstride by a slashing call? Chara gets boarded right after the Lucic hit and no call? It was horribly horribly inconsistent and habs biased last night, and no lucic shouldnt be suspended I could paste the official rule here but am too lazy. Spacek wasnt hurt sure he was bleeding but he sold that for all it was worth, he also turned his back with an impending hit coming, its literally in the rule book that turning your back is considered in the punishment applied for the hit. Many habs fans I know said it should've been a 2minute minor or 4 mintes for the blood but thats it. After, the ref's blew that call on the puck that trickled by thomas and the fans threw trash all over the ice, the refs knew they had to call it in favor of MTL or they have not made it out alive. Edit: I could also post the rule for Too Many men here. But that was a blown too many men call it literally goes agianst the grain of the rule that states "if a player is attempting to get off the ice and the player of another team shoots the puck into them no penalty will be applied"
-
And the other will have to continue drinking heavily every other night until their team is eliminated. Good luck tonight! Hopefully the refs dont feed you guys this one on a silver platter like last night.

Furthest Ever?? I once drove the fringe on a 405yd Par 4. The fairway goes up and down over a big hill. I must've caught a spot of hardpack/rock or something on the backside of the hill and got some crazy roll because I couldnt see it once it went over the hill. Just saw a ball in the fringe and thought to myself "huh????" 250yds on average for me. I just ordered a 10* to replace my 11* so hopefully ill add a few yards that way and lose less yardage on spin/hieght.

Dogfish head mmmmmmm.. Boston has several of its own great micro brews. Need I mention Harpoon and Sam Adams.

Hand Lotion, my right hand gets really dried out this time of year and the skin cracks open.

I can already picture the reply. "But we had lots of hot girls in the 40's and 50's!!!" hahaha
-
Once again wrong! You do realize Boston has more Colleges/Universitys per person than anywhere in the USA or Canada? That means a higher percentage of 18-26yo girls than anywhere else in either country. Go to Barstoolsports.com/boston and check out the local smoke show of the day. Tell me Bos doesnt have tons of good looking girls. If that doesnt work Ill take you to a 2nd round playoff game in Boston and we can swing by a few parites at BU, BC, NE first and then you can try and tell me theres no good looking girls. Just like your favorite team the citizens of MTL always making something up to overcome their shortcomings.
-
Molson is good, its too bad the owner is a dweeb and a hypocrite like 95% of MTL fans. About the girls I swear you guys like all chip in and pay to send the best looking girls in MTL down to boston for the games, ill admit theres a bunch of cute chicks. However, when they show the crowd in MTL its just Sheeeesh. Like the goblins come out in full force. Also its not like those playoff wins in the 30-40-50-60's even matter at all nowadays. Thats like saying Babe Ruth once played for the Sox so we are going to win the World Series for sure. Also, those times werent even fair where MTL had exclusive draft rights to their choice of players from MTL regardless of draft position. Its no wonder they had all those stacked teams they were the only ones allowed to draft the good players from up there.
-
You do realize Boston swept MTL last time they met in the playoffs right? 9-2 Boston is 9-2 in the last 11 playoff games between the two teams. So whos back is the monkey on exactly??

Played in the Rain on Saturday. We went to a Par3 course in Cape Cod, it wasnt pouring out but it was raining good and steady when we packing our bags up and just decided to "go for it". We were the only ones on the course(obviously) and got in for 10$ the guy in the bar was just like go for it if you want! So we played 9 in the cold 45-50* windy rain for 2 hours. It was actually pretty fun completely different conditions, I swear you had to crank the ball on the greens to get it to roll 10ft. Just crazy. Got a nice sunny day yesterday and laid the whole set on the lawn to dry out it seems to be fine now. It was fun if your that desperate try and get in a round in the rain, just mentally commit to doing it and dont look back. (But dress warm hah)
