  1. Shot a 91 yesterday in some heat at my home course, which is pretty good for me. Take out a couple doubles I had because of ridiculous shots and I'm upper 80s, which is great for me! Good luck, Ryan
  2. I agree with green6767 on the Clevelands! I went with a 52 gap and a 58 lob wedge. It will help your game immensely. You might still have to take a half or three quarter swing with the 58 for 50 yards, but it will go high and land softly. Good luck, Ryan
  3. I agree with Digger..options are endless if you reshaft. Plus, you're already going to be in the hole a little bit, so you may as well get exactly what you want! Good luck, Ryan

    Finally!

I'm goin through that right now. I'm trying to get my grip situated so it's comfortable and so I don't get blisters all the time, and it's really discouraging me sometimes. I feel like I might be ready for one of those rounds though where everything comes together in about a week or so. Thanks for telling your story though...it made me a little more confident. Take care, Ryan
  5. What exactly do you mean by hitters or swingers grip? Thanks, Ryan
  6. Sorry, I didn't write it correctly at first (edited now). I just meant which do you use or reccomend, and for the teachers and pros, which do you teach. I didn't mean to make it sound like only teachers and pros know which grip to use. My apologies again, and for the little I know about grips, everyone is a pro to me! Thanks again, Ryan
  7. I just posted a question about the 10 finger grip, and I was just wondering what kind of grip you use, recommend, or teach. Any extra information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Ryan
  8. Is there anything wrong with it? How many of you guys use it? I seem to control the clubhead better with it, but can't necessarily take quite as long of a backswing. I'd stick to the overlap, but I get blisters on my right hand. I know that not very many pros at all use a 10 finger...but I'm not a pro and I'm happy to shoot bogey golf. Let me know the pros and cons and any other input! Thanks a lot! Ryan

    My first eagle!

That's awesome! Congrats on the eagle!

    incredible

At least he was somewhat polite about it in not wasting time and he laughed about it instead of being a jerk..at least that's what it sounds like! Still, it's kinda funny Good luck, Ryan
  11. I use Maxfli A3 Solids right now, but after those are gone, I'm switching to the Bridgestone e6. Good luck, Ryan
  12. I was in high school not long ago at all...case and point...I'd take Natalie Gulbis for a round! I think she's very cute, but maybe that's just me Take care, Ryan
  13. Daytona Beach is pretty awesome...went there last spring and they have a ton of courses at a ton of different rates..played one round of 18 for $27 with a cart! Let me know if you want any info on it, because I have a Daytona Beach Area Golf Guide. Take care, Ryan
  14. I usually don't even hit driver, but here goes nothin. Driver- 260+ if it's straight (BIG IF) 4 Wood- 230 19* Hybrid- 215 3 iron- 200 4 iron- 190 5 iron- 180 6 iron- 170 7 iron- 160 8 iron- 150 9 iron- 140 PW- 130 GW- 110 LW- 80 Everything depends on whether I'm hitting off of a tee obviously, and if we're couting roll on the long to mid irons. These are basic distances though. Ryan
  15. Course: Pirate's Cove in Daytona Beach Hole: 15: 7 yards Club: Putter When: Spring 2007 HAHA...My girlfriend also landed a hole in one off of a ramp to the hole! No real aces to this date!!
  16. Myself and three buddies took the title in the first outing of the year. I've never actually won a scramble tournament, but I've only been playing for about a year. Sorry if this sounds like bragging, but I'm just really excited and it was really fun to be up there in the mix and come out on top! Good luck to everyone this year! Ryan
  17. Is my grip too tight if I'm developing blisters occasionally? Thanks, Ryan
  18. One of the pros that helped me with my swing put the tip of the grip of a club on my head like you said. He did it while I hit a few shots, then he told me to imagine it still being on my head. It works pretty well for keeping my head still, but practice makes...less irritated golfers! Good luck, Ryan
  19. That's incredible...I'm gonna have to try that! Ryan
  20. Nice work on being number one at age 16! Hope all goes well this season! Ryan
  21. I like to tee off with my R7 Steel. The low center of gravity makes it easy to get in the air. Ryan
  22. I think the survey speaks for itself...Taylormade is the way to go.
  23. I've got the 35" YES! Callie putter with the C-Groove technology. It feels pretty sweet!
  24. Another vote for Taylormade! Ryan
  25. I used to use Pings, but I just bought a set of Taylormade R7s and can't wait to put them in play! They feel good, but I want it to warm up more than anything! Ryan
