  1. I love to hunt also, but mostly bird hunting. I think next year I am going to start deer hunting again. Here is a picture of a coyote I dropped from 250-300 yards out while it was running away from me. (luckiest shot if my life lol)
  2. I use to have a 2004 SRT-4 with 363hp, then a 2006 GTO with 375hp, and another 2006 GTO with 450hp. Then I got married bought a house and have a baby on the way, so now I drive a 2001 Corrolla (huge gas saver), a 2002 Dodge Ram (the reason for the corrolla lol), and the wife drives a 2005 Toyota Highlander. I miss my GTO... At least I still have one toy left! Old cars that I really miss.. 450hp GTO 375hp GTO and 363hp SRT
  3. Are you serious?? I might have to try that, what kind of beer do you use?
  4. A couple bud lights and I am happy.
  5. Did you break his nose after that?? That's kind of a crappy thing to do... I also had a buddy do something like that to me. We were playing best call so we were going to pick up his ball, so I was leaning out of the cart a little to get the ball as he drove by, he makes a hard left turn and throws me out of the cart. I was a little pissed when he came back...
  6. Couple weeks ago I had to hit a drive over a pond, hit it really low and it skipped 40' across the water on to the fairway. I couldnt believe it and couldnt do it again if I tried.
  7. My buddy and I were playing after a really good rain so it was cart path only, well we both hit both our drives to the same spot just right of the fairway. When we get up there, there was a mini river going through the fairway, we both thought we hit the ball over the mini river so we get out looking for our ball. Comes to find out that we were both about 5 yards short and instead of walking all the way back tot he cart and around the mini river we decide to try and jump it. Well it was wayyy wider than any of us could jump, we try and find a place were the water was just low enough for us to cross without getting too wet. He gets a nice spot and makes it without getting all that wet, my miss my spot and land in a deep hole getting my shoes, shorts, and half my shirt wet. I could hear my wife laughing her ass off back at the cart, and after I get out of the mini river I see my buddy on the ground laughing. Oh what a fun day that was!
  8. I was golfing with my buddy a couple weeks ago, and he teed up way to high for hitting into the wind. He takes a big swing gets under the ball, the ball goes straight up and because of the wind ends up behind us...
  9. #1 I think the receipt idea is good, I am sure he will understand. #2 Its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission in a relationship Go to the outing and make it up to her later...
  10. Just checked out Villa Groves course and it looks really nice, its nice and wide open like Catlin.
  11. That sounds good to me, I heard Villa Grove is a nice course... I am also up for Legends, its always a fun quick course to play... When were you thinking?
  12. I know exactly where that's at, I drive that way several times a year to go hunting in Murdock... I don't know how I would do at a private course, I am still getting use to the game and I don't want to hit anybody house or car lol. I am starting to really get better and am starting to straighten out my drives some. I play Legends quite a bit because it is just 5 minutes from my house, and use their driving range also, it is a nice little course... We should try and get together sometime and get a game in on a couse that isnt that busy and layed back... Let me know when you are able to play.
  13. I am in the Champaign area, what courses do you play? I have been playing Blue Needles mostly because its a nice low traffic course...
  14. My wife golfed all her life, and I do see some very attractive women/girl golfers almost every time I go... No real story for me, but they are out there!
  15. No GPS but from the score card it said it was 518 to the green, and when I got to the ball I just had to use my 9i to put it on... So I just used that to kind of guess as to how far it went. There are no cart paths going through the fairway, because thats what I thought would have happened.
  16. Its not a good swing check out my hc... I dont know what happened.
  17. The thing is there was no one ahead of us, we were the first people to head out after a league...
  18. Thats what I'm talking about, nice list for the simple beer drinker. I have never had Red Oak before though but around this time I love me some Becks October Fest! Anyone that hasnt tried it should give it a shot.
  19. Yeah it was funny at first then it just gets old lol, driving all over the fairway from marshmallow to marshmallow. This is the second time I have seen this, but it is pretty clever...
  20. No, it was the right ball... It is a Fuzz with my B I wrote on it. It was also pretty windy out but I didn't have the wind directly to my back. Who knows, it definitely had me scratching my head.
  21. lol that's what we did, after he hit his shot to the green we turned around looking for my ball... Morons were leaving marshmallows all over the course to mess with people so we thought my ball that was up there was a marshmallow lol.
  22. I was thinking the same thing (ball on ball), its just really hard for me to believe it could even roll that far... But it was my ball, I put a B on most of my balls, and it was the one I was playing with all day...
  23. It was very dry out and the fairways were really hard, so I guess with a good bounce and roll it could have happened but I am still having a very hard time believing it went that far without any help...
  24. So me and my buddy are on the 12 hole which is a par 5 518yrds to the green. I got up first and made some very good contact with the ball right down the center of the fairway, then my buddy gets up and kind of bloops its 90-100 yards. Well we pull up to his ball and he makes some decent contact and sends the ball to where we thought my ball went (we were on the bottom of a slight hill so we couldn’t see the green or the rest of the fairway yet). We load up and head to the first ball we see which we thought was mine, nope it was his! About 380yrds up was my ball! Used a 9 to get on the green How is this possible? Was someone messing with us and threw my ball further? Did his ball hit mine and send it up some more? Did I hit a rock or something in the fairway to send it further? Has this happened to anybody else?I am sure I am going get to get flamed for this, but it really did happen and I am just curious if this has happened to anybody else...
