funny thing about today is the club pro approached me and told me I am one of 6 people in the entire club who practices the most to me, that was a huge compliment I had no clue people would notice something like that I'm usually at the range 2 or 3 times a week, usually getting in 1 or 2 rounds

thanks for the tips guys I plan on playing 9 holes with the local pro it's kind of pricey, but I believe it will greatly improve my game and it obvious I need to work on my grip, as I have been experimenting with different set-ups and it's not really giving me any improvement

I had to leave the practice facility's early today due to some people's kids acting like total morons. I really don't respect these parents who bring all their un-ruly kids and don't bother teaching them the etiquette of acting on a golf course. Kids banging their clubs on the metal dividers on the range, kids picking up my balls on the putting green, kids yelling and running around like its a daycare, etc etc. I have to pay money to go and practice. Is it wrong for me to want an environment that is quiet and respectful?

I know what you mean I have gotten to the point of not trusting any advice from so-called pros/teachers Why should they teach you the proper way to play golf? They would be out of a job if everyone just followed their "tips" I can't label them all as bad. But I would say at least 95% teach you the wrong way to play golf. In order to preserve their jobs. I have no respect for that.
