I ran into the exact same injury twice both times at the driving range after topping that 400 ball mark (not that I "topped" 400 balls but just hit over 400 balls ) I'm not sure if it matters but both times it occurred I was hitting on mats and never happened when hitting off grass. After the second time I took in a lot of whey protein while I was waiting for it to heal (two weeks). I did lite exercises to strengthen the muscle and stretches to help it become more flexible while it was healing. Also I would note any movement that hurt and once it was nearly healed I would do exercises and stretches that involved the same movements to help ensure it doesn't occur again. Hopefully it won't happen again but it does help improve my chipping and putting game since that's all I can do while it's healing

The Z Star and Z Star X hold up a lot better than the Titleist Pro V1 and Titleist Pro V1x. I can get a full round of out of a Z Star whereas after a few hits with my irons much less wedges the Titleist Pro V1 balls start to show signs of wear. If I was willing to swap out a ball every 3 or 4 holes I would consider the Titleist but since that's not the case I play the Srixon Z Stars. Srixon is coming out with a new ball and I've seen the Z Stars and Z Star Xs going for $30 a dozen. For that price it's a no brainer and I've stocked up on a few dozen.

For 92 yards and in I'm hitting my 54° wedge. If I was stranded on a deserted island I could survive with just some matches and my 54° wedge. I figure that since it has saved me so much on the golf course that it should be able to save me on a deserted island All joking aside I really do feel confident with my 54° wedge. I also use my 54° as my sand wedge unless I'm in a situation where I'm in a bunker with hard sand (not common to have nice fluffy sand here in Reno, NV) or have an odd lie (i.e. deep in the rough, downhill with a green that runs away, etc). In these cases I'll usually use my 60°.

The problem with getting the serial number and calling Ping is that the counterfeiters take a serial number from a real Ping putter and put it on the counterfeit putters.

It looks like the College Golf Center in Palm Springs. It's nice but can't compare to the practice facilities at some of the area courses.

The Adams hybrids (Idea Techs) are really popular. I have a 2h, 3h and 4h but carry only one or two of them depending on the course. They have to be the easiest clubs to hit in just about any situation and instill a lot of confidence when dealing with an awkward lie.

I personally own a FlightScope launch monitor and tried out a Trackman before buying the FlightScope. The Trackman was $25k plus while the FlightScope was $10k and both use dopler radar technology. The feedback I get from both of these is at least 95% accurate. I would be suprised if someone would consistently get inaccurate results from either one of these launch monitors. I also tested some other cheaper launch monitors but I felt they gave poor feedback and/or inaccurate results.
