  1. I am encouraged by the apparent growth she seems to be showing. There is a world of growing up done between 15 and 18. Good for her, but she does have more to go....
  2. If she golfs better with your clubs or another club other than the ladies - let her use those. (assume her fundamentals are sound) The golf swing is more art than science. If a fitter or designation on the shaft/head meant perfection 100% of the time, well there would be a lot of people out of work. Let her golf what she (the scorecard) is telling you is best. Other than the rules - the game of golf is not filled with absolutes.
  3. Thanks for clearing that up. Appreciate it. I never played tourney golf, the closest is betting my brother a buck a stroke for the round.
  4. I can listen to Annika. That isn't hard at all for me. I speak several languages and have spent a lot of time around people for whom English is a second language. I cypher just fine. Wie - it isn't that she has an accent or anything, just that she lacks any ability to form a complete sentance or complete thought in 9 words or less.
  5. Dunno . I just can't fathom why a ball marked practice would be verbotten.
  6. Why wouldn't you? - serious question from someone who has never played a tourney or ever intends to.
  7. Why would you doubt what the PING rep has to say? I mean he would more than likely know what is and isn't PING policy and I am sure with the explosion of on-line places to buy clubs they have heard the question more than once. I am sure they have their answer down as to just what is and isn't shipped from PING with a serial number.
  8. Ruger is the only mfg to cast their actions. There really isn't all that much thickness on a rifle action - particularly compared to a CB iron. FYI - not meant to come off bad - just what it is, information.
  9. Ahh ok. Didn't know that one.
  10. QFT? What does that mean?

Cargo thongs allowed? Guessing I wouln't want to see that - but still the question stands... (BTW this thread jumped the shark a long time ago. May as well run with it)
  13. That's what I am finding as well. Ebay offers the chance for me to save 4-10 bucks over new it seems and that's for used stuff. 4 bucks is cheap insurance when you buy from a big box place. Still hoping and sniffing for a deal on a Cameron though.....
  14. I feel bad - supply low in the US - Dicks here in town has about 25 of them on the rack. I am sure we aren't sitting on a honey pot of TM drivers either. Good luck.
  15. There is a very real difference between someone bidding 30k on an apple core (and I do remember Tiger eating one - saw it on TV) and actually collecting 30 grand for an apple core. I am guessing there are multiple people wahooing that auction. Setting up proxy ebay accounts to drive up the price so this guy actually thinks he has something goin on.
  16. I wasn't calling you out - just curious. I know Ruger is considered THE experts when it comes to casting - investment style. It's been around since the Romans IIRC but Bill Ruger perfected it. They can hold some pretty amazing dimensions on a cast piece. Thanks for the info. As I see it - a company that wants to cast clubs has to pony up for the good steel? (BTW - I am a gun nut - other kids had baseball cards, I had reloading manuals - most people don't even realize what Ruger does at Pine Tree outside of making actions and pistol frames)
  17. Exactly - I can tell the difference between generic and name brand Cheetos by touch alone.....
  18. I guess I am looking for clarification. Metals that take a lot of stress or under load? Ruger has been casting their rifle actions forever. Weatherby and Lott designations. Heck the 257 WBY produces about 54,000 psi of chamber pressure. Ruger's cast actions handle many thousands of such firings and are regarded as one of the toughest actions of all time for large caliber boomers (and small). Cast. I doubt hitting a 7iron would exceed 54,000 psi. (ps - Ruger's Pine Tree Casting used to cast all of Callaway's Ti driver heads) Ruger Golf So to you mean casting technology as it's used in the golf industry outside of Ruger?
  19. Your driver will most likely be packaged by some guy either in HS or just out of it for about 9 bucks an hour if it is coming from a US warehouse. I am an intelligent man but unfortunately I can not comment on how it would be packaged by someone in a foreign country. My foreign experience being mostly Eastern Europe. Doubt much comes from there golf wise.
  20. Go to this thread: Scotty Camerons and get in touch with the gentleman on there with the list of putters. He may want to trade or know of a way/place for you to upgrade. BTW 1280 hits on ebay for SC. they aren't that rare - some individual ones are but I can't see all 1280 being rare!
  21. Ebay Craig's List The SandTrap I have noticed thou.... No matter what SC putter a guy is selling it is always *Rare*......
  22. Welcome - originally from the UP and a closet Lions fan - you are in good company here!

Okay - reading comprehension taking a bit of a hit I see. I asked specifically: Seeing as you aren't taking the time to at the least, read and understand what I asked I am done with you and the thread. LeMay specifically said : As that is his stated and printed word - I don't see how he is wrong as you put it.

My dress pants are as well. Love his stuff.

Could you show me where LeMay said he would go onto a course to flaunt its dress code as a stated goal. That is say "I know you don't like guys in shorts - well screw you if I play speed golf I can get in 3 holes before someone catches me." I think what he means is if he went to a place where there wasn't a specified code and someone had a problem with his cargo shorts - he would rather not play there as those aren't the type of people he wants to associate with.
