  1. Hmm, I always looked at them very back of the ball but reading this thread I may see how it goes with the front of the ball.
  2. That's very good, releases all the stress.
  3. I've had this a few times mainly from playing on a very overcrowded course where the main concern is getting bodies through the gates. Most of the players are just there for the odd game and are not regulars so they underestimate the distance when they manage to get a decent shot in. I get angry and they looked chuffed cos they're on the green, to be fair they have all apologised so far.
  4. Many thanks for the links, really interesting.
  5. A break is always a good idea, what helps me is some relaxation cd's, I know it sounds a bit naff but the next time I go out I then look at the game in a more laid back manner and think what the hell, I'll just hit the ball. Before I know it I'm concentrating and getting back into the swing of things so to speak and my game is back on track, average though it is.
  6. It may be worth seeing someone or try laying off for a couple of weeks or more as posted above and then go back with just a little pitching to start off with and build up gradually to a full on drive. If its something like carpal tunnel then the pain will come screaming back and you will need surgery to get it fixed.
  7. I've played at Pebble Beach many times on my PC and that's about as close as I'm going to get. Mind you with all this 3D techno stuff going around it may just get a bit more realistic for me.
  8. 43 and 10 years playing although having moved to the wettest area of the uk probably not playing as much!
  9. Systems Network Manager which is a pain in the butt at times as I'm on call 24/7 but it pays for my addiction to Golf.
  10. Hi there, I'm a newbie from the uk too.
