Welcome to the brand new TST! Click the title of this announcement to read more about what's new and different here at The Sand Trap!       We're using some new software to power this forum, and while this means some change, it's for the better. However, there will be a few bumps, and one of those may be that you may have a little trouble logging in to your account. So try this: Log in with your existing username and password. If that fails, reset your password here: http://thesandtrap.com/lostpassword/ .If that fails, PM either @mvmac or @iacas and we'll help you out. After that, check out this thread to share any bugs you find along with your likes/dislikes, and check out this thread to see what awesome new features you can use on this site. Finally, once you're on the site, do a few things if you don't mind: Check your account settings. This is where you can clean up your signature.Edit your profile (to possibly include your GAME Golf account). Do this by clicking "Edit Profile" on your name in the top right corner of the site.Add or replace the cover photo on your profile. They're now Facebook-like dimensions. Change your avatar if it looks distorted, too.

Anyone know if this site is legit?

This site has rbz irons for $350 and other ridiculous deals. Has anyone used this site before? Is there any legit deal sites for golf stuff that you have used?

under the 'about us link' they give contact info... might shoot them an email with specific questions. Located in Phoenix, probably can see if they are listed with the Better Business Bureau. Good prices indeed.

    • Weight distribution
      By golfball4859 · Posted
You won't be able to see his weight shift until the moment right before he begins his take back. But I will try out how an equal weight distribution will feel today at the range. I think I put too much weight on my toes.

Same, I usally just mentally track how many above par. At the end, I let GolfLogix calculate all my stats.
    • What is your target score?
      By dave s · Posted
More of an expectation than a 'target score' for me.  I expect I'll shot around 90 each time out, given my accurate 16.5 hdcp.  If I'm playing exceptionally well, the card will say 84 or 85.  If I'm stinkin' up the place, it'll say 92 or 93.  Since short game is the strongest area of my game, I can roll the ball from tee to green and usually get up and down in 2-3 shots all day long. If I'm hitting the ball solid, I'll break 85. Also, I limit my mistakes and have good golf course management skills.  This means I keep the ball in play to limit penalty shots to near zero per round. At this stage of my life and game, it is what it is. dave

New site has a very crisp, sleek look to it. I see no major problems, but I do have some questions on minor issues: 1. Both iacas and mvmac have darker text with excellent contrast in their sig lines. The Sigs of me and most other posters are faint and washed out. What's the secret for darker text, without putting everything in bold? 2. In Sigs, bullet items have a full  horizontal line space between them.  You two have less air between separate lines. What is the secret (for sigs and for posts in general). 3. Instructions mention that avatars have Facebook dimensions. Mine now looks very spread out left to right. Should the avatar be photo-shopped into a square image? Thanks, W
