I decided to take the plunge and try my hand at buffing....so glad I did.  Added a little sparkle to my old 755's.

They buffed up pretty quickly.  I only spent about 5 minutes or so on each iron, using black emery compound on a cloth wheel in my Dremel.

I picked up the compound bars in a kit at my local hardware store for $10.  They usually come with four different grits.  If you get such a kit, stay away from the red jewellers rouge, he he, unless you like everything around you covered in a wonderful red dust that doesn't easily wipe up.

Moparman426, they came out great.  I think you should expand your post and do a step-by-step on how the average SandTrapper can do this themselves.  Good stuff!

Agreed. I'd love to do this with my forged clubs. I play and practice a lot, and would love to put some shine back on 'em.

Can do.  I want to go over a couple of them again anyway.  I also want to try and polish up the sole of my putter as well.  I'll be doing it over the weekend, so I'll make sure to snap more pics during the process this time.
