  1. 85 mph swing speed is really good. Here you go. http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Callaway-Solaire-Ladies-Full-Set-Golf-Club-/81740164
  2. Head covers are the worse thing you can do to them. Traps in moisture, makes 'em rust. Just let them be free and enjoy them.
  3. Ping G15's AWT R flex. Do their web fitting for lie/lenght. If you're going easier, go really easy!
  4. He's correct. Go out with no expectations. When I have my best rounds it's after I haven't played in a bit and don't expect to be worth a damn.
  5. That stinks. NEVER loan out your woods. EVER!
  6. If I had time to practice and play I'd go to a pro. But people I see that go to pros aren't any better than people who don't, but they get angrier when they mishit. I figure I only play a couple times a month and don't practice so I have zero expectations and am able to enjoy myself on the course. In fact I'm playing the best golf of my life right now because I figured out I just have to keep it on the course and I'll at least get a bogey. I'll have one triple a round, a birdie or two and shoot low 80's. If I could eliminate 3 putts I'd shoot upper 70's. Why go see a pro? Now, when my 4 year old took up the game I bought a package of group lessons through a female PGA pro for my son, my father in law, and myself. Totally useless to me and my father in law but my son learned a classic golf swing and is a terrific little player now. I think for kids or somebody just starting out finding a good pro is essential. But in my situation where I don't maintain a handicap, probably play less than 20 rounds a summer, don't even carry 14 clubs, I doubt it would help anything. I would like to putt better though. Not awesome, just no more three putts. Then I'd play people for some $$$.
  7. I'd dump the higher lofted wedges unless you really practice with them a bunch.
  8. keep the x-14's. Those are awesome sticks.
  9. Get a set of Top Flites. You should be able to get the whole set for under your budget and they're actually half way decent starter clubs. Just make sure you get steal shafts and not graphite. I just played with a guy who was killing 'em.
  10. www. custom works golf .com He's at 44 and Jefferson. Nice guy. He sells knock offs though and I don't think he's a KZG/Wishon guy, but I know he's cheap for grips and should be able to do lie adjustments. Bring your gun and don't leave any valuable in your car. LOL!!!
  11. Have a Fuji Vista Pro put in there. Regular flex. It's tip stiff and will play about the same as most OEM's stiff shafts. You should be able to get it installed for around $60-$80.
  12. Call Callaway. When they're done laughing maybe they'll send you a new driver. Couldn't hurt, huh?
  13. I had a couple BB07 fw's last year and I called Callaway seeing if they had some other type of head covers I could buy from them that weren't so foo foo. They sent me two full sets of headcovers for free. They have excellent customer service.
  14. That's nothing. My usual course is Gold: 73.6/141 www.quailcreekgolfclub.com
