  1. It is a known technique, similar to the armed forces box technique. They use a 4x4 , in through the nose and out through the mouth. I use it to go to sleep fairly often. It works for me
  2. I liked the comment "I need to be able to hit it both ways." "Buddy, you're a 15 handicap, you're already hitting it both ways." 🤣 I need to improve my use of video more than anything. I feel like I do the rest pretty good, but could for sure use the camera more.
  3. I've been following your swing thread here and reading the notes. It sounds like we are working on many of the same things. Interesting reading through your thread for sure.
  4. This is probably one of my biggest issues. I go out with intentions on playing a round of golf and it ends being a big practice session where I am working on drills as well...
  5. I watched Kolby Tullier with Joey D do some pretty good tests and none of them were toe touches. He did a hip bridge test to see if your glutes were firing or if you were using your hamstrings or quads instead.
  6. Welcome back. I have actually had 2 meniscus repair surgeries in my right knee... Basically have a spot of bone on bone now.
  7. Laser range finder hands down for me. I've tried GPS and just didn't seem that great for the same reasons @iacas mentioned. I like shooting objects rather than just getting a distance. I also find it very valuable on the range for my practice sessions. With the variance of range yardages day to day (on the courses I play anyway), you cannot trust the designated yardage signs that they post and never change. And I pitch around in the yard as well and like shooting a distance for consistency.
  8. Same here. Seems quite a few of my fundamentals had strayed and Erik had to get me back on track. It was kind of surprising how bad I had gotten off.
  9. With scratch being a highly sought after goal, what are the realistic chances of reaching said goal after age, 30, 40, 50, etc...?
  10. That looks exactly like my dad's old wallet. It would amaze me that he could sit on that all day, as you said. Those wallets took some abuse..
  11. Agreed. Tempo work is great
  12. You have no choice but to do these slow..It is a somewhat awkward position. Try this one when you think about it. I found it much more quad dominant than anything I was doing barbell wise, mainly with the positioning of the kb behind the back. But the elevation is the key to isolating the quads for sure
  13. Want to smoke the quads? Try the Kb cyclist squats! Elevate your heels, hold a Kb behind you and do cyclist squats...wow! They were a humbling surprise
  14. I have this issue as well. I play in a bi-weekly league and I generally work on my drills and feels as I'm playing in the league...lol. But to be honest, they really do not affect me in a bad way too much. If anything, my irons are actually more crisp. The issue comes in when I transition to the woods....so I try to find a happy medium there for the time being. But as far as bad shots go, they are no worse than they were before worrying about drills and what not. Just speaking for my experience, obviously.
