  1. Thanks Scott, that's looking like my best option at this point.
  2. I live in the Springfield, MA area and am looking for recommendations on a good golf pro for lessons. I’m considering using Evolvr as well but would like to take some in person lessons as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  3. Sure. As long as it's not federal, pound me in the ass prison
  4. I tried this the other night with my GSD but he was already in full on zoomie mode, got to try it again when he’s calm enough to sit still. So damn funny
  5. Not really funny per se but damn that would cool to have
  6. I totally get what you're saying and I agree. I wear pretty much all Oakley gear but you'd never know it just seeing me on the course, you'd have to really look close to know. I think people can do whatever they want, wear what they want, as long as it's not negatively affecting anyone else. However, I do think that when a guy shows up to the muni in golf nickers, argyle sweater vest, and a golf cap like below, it's very much a "look at me thing".
  7. Pretty much all of my golf apparel is Oakley. Shorts, pants, polo's, even my golf shoes. Buutttt... that being said, it's because as an optician I sell Oakley's for a living and get killer discounts on all of their stuff.
  8. Bidwell Tavern in Coventry, CT has great wings, they have like 30 different rubs and sauces to choose from. Enrico's in Sturbridge, MA has really good brick oven wings and Smokestack BBQ in Worcester has awesome smoked wings.
  9. I'm a big fan of baking wings with a good dry rub. I mix a little bit of baking powder in with the dry rubs and that helps to crisp them up too. @jamo Where in CT are you? I'm in MA now but grew up in Tolland, there's a great wing place in Coventry - Bidwell Tavern. I'll have to check out Salamander's when I'm out in LI in a few weeks, where in Greenport is it? Claudio's is our usual spot to hit up right in Greenport. I have family in Orient and East Marion so I'm out that way at least a few times a year. If you like good beer you should hit up Greenport Harbor Brewing next time you're out there, they've got a great setup.
  10. @redsoxfan I'm right up the road from you in Palmer!
  11. Damn, I missed the boat on that one. I can slice among the best of them and I'm in Massachusetts ....
  12. I did notice the open stance on the driver video right away. Perhaps I should actually pay attention to the alignment stick ... Thanks @HJJ003, I appreciate the advice. I didn't even notice the flipping until you pointed that out.
  13. I've been Playing Golf for: 2 years My current handicap index or average score is: 36 (typically shoot around 110-115) My typical ball flight is: Intermittent slice The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: My biggest miss is thin hits with my irons. I've been playing for about 2 years now, about 10-12 rounds per year. Oddly enough, putting is my strongest part of the game. I was slicing my driver pretty bad but have straightened that out quite a bit toward the end of last season. My biggest issue at the moment is with my irons. I have a tendency to try and swing too hard when I'm on the course and have inconsistent contact. I just got the net so I can practice at home without worrying about where the ball is going, I want to practice slow swings with good form to create quality muscle memory. Ultimately I'm looking for a good first piece of advice to focus on as I'm practicing with the net. Videos: I swear it's not my first time using a computer .....
  14. I just use my Game Golf Live to get an idea of the distance. When I'm eventually a lot better I might get a range finder but until then it won't be of much help.
