The only shoe with a wishbone suspension, and $179. In stores soon.

Wore a pair today. Didn't require much breaking in - wore it around the house a little bit a few days ago, for 30 minutes or so, and then hitting balls the other day on the range. No problems with blisters or anything - the shoe is soft.

The OptiFlex (I think that's what they're called) in the toes work really well, and the wishbone bit provides a lot of stability. I didn't like how narrow the shoes were at first, but then I realized that golf shoes that are too wide just let your feet slide around a lot during the swing. They're roomier than they look, but hold fast during a swing.

It's tough to say how well the whole wishbone thing worked, but the walk was very comfortable, and I was never in danger of slipping or sliding out. My course has some pretty sizeable hills.

Full review in a few weeks.

So I could get the new FootJoys with OptiFlex to wear while I hit my new FT-3 driver with the OptiFit system? Fine. But I'm still going to hold out for a pair of sunglasses with the OptiGrab nosepiece, as designed by the brilliant Navin R. Johnson and immortalized in the documentary, "The Jerk".
