I am in the market for a new set of irons, and have narrowed it down to these two particular brands. Was wondering if anyone had any say in the matter as I have not had a chance to swing these clubs yet.

Any other suggestions are more then welcome, been away from the game for 2 years now so keep that in mind.

I'm surprised that you are looking at only two options and that you have narrowed down your choices without hitting anything yet. I play G10 irons and really love them because I'm quite a horrible player and they are really forgiving. I have tried S9s before (the old model) and was impressed with how easy they were to hit. I haven't hit i10s, but have read that they are more of a "players" club; smaller face, more workable, etc.

If I were you, I would be tracking down demo days and visiting any golf store with a Vector monitor as often as time and my wife allowed and trying out tons of clubs. Before I bought my irons, I was convinced that Big Berthas or X20s were for me. Then I tried the G10s on a whim and fell in love with them. You might be pleasantly surprised!
