Any advice on my over the top swing and how to eradicate it guys much appreciated. It drives me mad. Thanks

 

I've been Playing Golf for: 10+ years
My current handicap index or average score is: 19
My typical ball flight is: Left to Right
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Over the Top

No offense intended here at all, but please realize:

  • You've got two posts, and both are in here where you're asking for free help (which is fine, but people are more likely to help people that are contributing elsewhere on the site).
  • You've got a 1:24 video that's not trimmed or slow motion.
  • There's no face-on view.
  • You gave almost no detail or info in your first post.

You could put a stick outside and behind the ball, oriented over your right shoulder, and keep your left arm inside that. At A5 your left arm has shifted well out.

Apologies Iacas, came across the forum randomly so was not sure what the procedure is, thanks for the pointer though, much appreciated.
