March Golf Trip to Florida.... what's popping?

I've played most of the renowned courses in Florida, and in most of the "golf" cities there.... but all when I was a bit younger! I don't really remember everything and I'm not sure what's hot these days.

What are your guys recommendations? I'm very flexible... down for Sawgrass... or something more obscure that also has character... and anything in between.

Let me know. Pluses would also be airport proximity, good restaurants in the area, and that's really it...

Pine Barrens is the best course I've played in West Central Florida, about 1 hour to 1:15 north of Tampa Airport on the Suncoast Parkway, take it to the end, turn right, entrance is 1/2 mile on the right.

360 degree driving range...awesome, take the cart around and practice different wind conditions. Pine Barrens course is pretty awesome in my book.

Eagle Creek, Southern Dunes, and World Woods

Golf Channel had a re run of the Phil Mickelson...David Toms World Woods match in 2002 a few days ago. You'll like it.

The course ate my lunch the first 3 holes, then got used to the dramatic elevation changes, v a s t waste bunkers, and pretty fast greens. Still put a whuppin on me...gonna come better prepared this summer with the cheapskate rates!
