Rusty Clubs

Does anyone else use rusty clubs? I just bought a unfinished club. I am in the rusting process as we speak. Do you notice a difference in your club? Such as spin etc...

My previous wedge was a Cleveland 588 rusty. It did the job. One thing tho, my clubs are satin finished so when rusty touched them for a period of time it transfered the rust over. That's when I started using those head covers on all my clubs. Now that I think of it, just covering rusty would have worked to. lol

i know of a couple of guys (low single figures) who had Vokey Spin Milled wedges that rusted - but they both independently changed to Chrome. They claimed they lost spin with the rusty ones - and noticed a huge difference when they went for the Chrome. Now there will always be some difference when you buy a club new - but they said the rust wasn't as good as the non-rusted clubs for spin.

I had a Vokey 200 series and a Cobra Trusty Rusty that both rusted - great feel off them. I'm not a "spin merchant" - i don't care much for spin, just a bit of stop is all I want - i love the feel of rusty clubs.
