So my son is 15 and currently about 5’9. I bought him clubs about 18 months ago and had them shortened 1” to fit him at the time.  I think it’s time to either get him fitted for new clubs or have his current ones lengthened. Any thoughts would help. I am not leaning one way or the other yet just starting the process.

I would add the 1" back to his current set. My son really sprouted between 15 and 19 years old. You may want to wait till he is fully grown.

You can order extensions online and grips. Putting them back won’t be that hard if you have a vice. You can order everything for under 100 bucks at a guess. If you get him cheap grips.  Watch the weight on the grips and match what he has golf pride isn’t very heavy. If you add an inch the clubs will feel heavier to him because the swing weight will increase. If it bothers him you can put a heavier grip on.
