And if so, what?

I`ve started to listen to music while at the range, this helps me keep a good tempo. It also makes the hours spent practicing more bearable, and helps me focus, and give every shot some time, instead of just whacking the balls randomly.

In my current playlist, you find songs such as:
Redman - Let`s get dirty
Minus The Bear - Burying Luck
Lupe Fiasco - Daydreamin`
Fat Joe - Test Me
Young Jeezy and R.Kelly - Go Getta
Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home
Cute Is What We Aim For - Moan
Catch 22 - As The Footsteps Die Out Forever
The Kooks - Always Where I Need To Be
The Kooks - Slave To The Game

I`ve noticed that I feel way more energetic while listening to hip hop. Go Getta is definately my favourite song as of yet.

So, what do you listen to when you`re at the range?

I have made one hole in one this far. While you are reading this, I am most likely out on the tee trying to sink another one

I can't say that I ever have but I may give it a try (providing that my earbud cords are long enough). I will listen to whatever is on my iPod Touch.
  • A Perfect Circle
  • Breaking Benjamin
  • Paramore
  • Oleander
  • Collective Soul
  • My Chemical Romance
  • Lacuna Coil
  • Finger Eleven
  • Egypt Central
  • etc...

I wish I could play listening to music! That would be awesome....not very safe though.

I do. It helps me to concentrate on my own shots and not hear all the noise around me. Some people just annoy the hell out of you at the range, and if its so crowded where you cant move you have no choice.

I tend to listen to harder rock when I am at the range though.

Rock Playlists -

- Avenged Sevenfold
- Atreyu
- Bullet For My Valentine
- Shadows Fall
- All That Remains
- Trivium

Anything along those lines I find myself gravitating to on the range.
I love all types of music, but harder rock tends to get it done for me on the range.

I don't... after all I don't listen while playing golf.

But if I did I sure wouldn't listen to any of that rap or pop BS...

I do like listening to music while playing hockey though... especially for warm-ups. Still.... never rap... hard fast guitar is best for hockey.

If I did listen to music for golf I would listen to something soothing like classical or maybe classic rock or some such thing.

You know what they say.....Can't make cRAP without RAP!!

Just kidding Erland! My apologies in advance for the tasteless joke.

Nice! Like Willem Dafoe in Boondock Saints!

I actually have a nice classical music cd that I've been meaning to put on my iPod. I should try that if I can get a slow evening/morning on the course!

Ive never tried on the range, but I tried on the course and I just couldnt hit the ball. The music distracted me too much.

I knew there would be rap/crap jokes. I usually listen mostly to rock or progressive rock. Tool is beyond far my favourite band, but listening to it while at the range simply doesn`t work.

I`m pretty new to listening to music while at the range, I started this season, and this season started recently. I will play some Dredg while on the range tomorrow, and see how it fits.
