I have a 907d2, which i am a big fan of. But I recently hit another person's 907d2 at the range and his was a little different. mine sounds more like a "clunk" or a "dunk" "whook" and his had that nice "ting" sounds to it. Don't get me wrong, i hit mine well, but the sound differences were odd.

- mine has a Nippon, NP Pro Tour, really stiff shaft - http://www.nipponshaft.com/graphite_tour65.html
- he had that really expensive shaft that K.J. Choi uses (forget the name)
- both had 9.5*, both were stiff

Would that be attributed to my shaft, or could there be something wrong with my driver? (it is a second hand driver, so I am skeptical)

thanks for the help
