Anybody use this? Thoughts/Review?

I tested this at a local shop and it looks really good and feels extra soft. Is this putter made for more of a flat putting style? I current use an old Teardrop td21 and it sets up well to my stance and stroke.

I love that putter, but it doesnt quite fit my stroke. If you're an open door/closed door type of putter, then its great for you.

what does open door/closed door mean? I don't think its right for me either, but it feels soo good off the face. It also seems like it would help me on those short puts, within 5 feet. For some reason, i tend to pull these putts :(

ive only tried the black series, not the black series i, but i really like them too, i would get one if they were reasonably priced.

it worked really well for my simple, pendulum, straight back straight through stroke..

When opening on the way back, sqauring it, than shutting it through is the major crux of your stroke instead of back and through in a kind of pendulum motion. The heel shafting is desinged to help with that so that you can pivot around it. But im not that kind of putter, so I would be inconsistant with it, even though I think its a superior putter. I havent hit them all, but that whole black series line seems pretty good.

i love the feel of the original black series (the ones with the all steel face) and am kind of mad that odessy doesnt make the #9 style or the 2 ball in the original black series because those would be great putters

I think open door closed door is misleading- it suggests a 180 degree arc.

I think this picture(stolen from TST's Detour review) best illustrates the style
