What I wanted was a straight up putter 90 degrees from the ground. What I had was a blade head on a broomstick shaft.  So rummaging around I found a sabertooth putter head. With ninety degree butt end. So I heated up the blade spun that off and fired the saber tooth on the broomstick.  But I’m now illegal.  So heat up the shaft and bend it to eighty degrees or get a kink whatever comes first.  The kink happened.  But I think eelll I know she’s a one of a kind. I’m trying it out tomorrow!

Quick measurement here was about 6-7°, so just make sure it's actually at least 10° off from vertical.

That should be easy enough. Most putters are 70 degree.  Long putters 75. I hope I’m there. But my luck I would probably be a few degrees short. Eye balling it from the top the end is about 8 inches away from vertical with a ball.

    • Day 294: worked on bead on short putts with an indoor putting drill.
    • Day 3: Worked on ingraining a pendulum like putting stroke and altering distances by backswing length.
    • Adding in make sure alignment of the torso is matching the feet line and too my target. Outdoors I was hitting everything right. I dropped my left shoulder back to my left heel, opening everything up and now I can pivot better and hit my target line.
    • Final tournament of the season.  Two day event but I only played the first day.  My round started so well with a shotgun start on the 15th.  Bogey, par x 2, bogey, par, bogey and then things took a turn.  3 putt double, bogey, couple of duffed shots double, bogey, 3 putt double, par, into hazard double, couple of duffed shots double, bogey, par x 3.  Without those 5 silly doubles, I would have had more than a fair chance of a trophy in the stableford event for one day play.  C'est la vie
