Adams Tight lies 3 wood

Has anyone ever played with an Adams Tight lies 3 wood? I was recently also drug into a store with my wife. I was looking through the clubs, and happened to notice the Adams 3 wood. I picked up it, just admisiring it. Knowing I cannot afford it. I happened to glance at the price tag. It was originally 75.00, and was on clearance for 17bucks. I talked my wife into letting me get it. Haven't got to use it yet. Hopefully this weekend. If you have played with one, how do they hit? Is it even worth the discounted price I paid for it? Thanks

Thats what I carry and it works just fine for me. 230 down the middle just about every time. I can even work it a little r-l and l-r when needed. Picked mine up at walmart on the cheap. That and a Synchron II are the only three metals ive ever played, though, so I cant really compare it to anything else.

Been carrying a Tight Lies 16* 3 (or I guess 4) wood for years....works great for me, it is the one club I have not consdered changing for several years.

Driver: Titleist 905T 11.5*

Hybrids: Cleveland HALO Hybrids 19*, 22*

Irons Snake Eyes Python O/S irons (I carry 5,7,9,A irons)

Wedges: Adams Tom Watson SW 56* (sometimes carry Adams Tom Watson LW 60*)

Putter: Odyssey Dual Force 2 Rossie or Tommy Armour EFT Series Model 6

I also had a T.lies 3wood for a long time, Straight down the middle every time, well for me, most of the time. But absolutely the easiest club to hit with along with the tight lies driver I had.

I am glad I got lucky and got a good club. I also have my eye on the Adams driver. It was on clearance for 50 bucks. I am going to keep my eye on it. Hopefully I can get it for what

      Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.

      As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
