I don't know if this has come up yet, but does anyone know anything on the new Titleist 909 series??

I have played the 975D 8.5*, 975J 7.5*(favorite driver ever!!!), and now have the 907D2, which i got only a month ago.
I may still try and find a cheap 905R to swing.

Anyway, if anyone has any news on this new driver, please post it here. I'm pretty anxious to check it out. Though I traditionally hold on to drivers for a while. I may be inclined to move to the 909 from the 907. I only hope that it goes as far and feels as good as my 975J did!

DRIVER - 907D2 9.5
3 WOOD - FIRESOLE
IRONS - TA3
WEDGES - 52,56 60
PUTTER - WHITE HOT

They've yet to even appear on Tour yet, so...

It will be very hard for me to put down my R7 425, but I always like to try new Titleist drivers. The 975 was great, but I have not found one that I really liked since. I do not like the 460 head and was very excited when the prototype D4 was rumored to go retail, so I will keep my fingers crossed in hopes that the new Titleist line will come with a 425 head option, but either way I will hit it just for the sake of trying it.

Word on the web (other forums) is 3 weeks and they will be doing a big demo on tour. I wouldn't hold your breath but thats what everyone is saying. Heard its a cross between the 905 and 907, I'm hoping for a 425cc head as well, taylormade made one this year why not titleist.

whats the difference between 460cc and 425(please dont say 425 is smaller) i mean dont u hit it farther and get more forgiveness with more cc

sorry dont mean to sound too off topic

1-3mph swing speed, less forgiveness, arguably more workability. 460cc will fit most swing styles better, but there's something more solid about a smaller head.

In my opinion, if you put a 425 head and a 460 side by side, you can not tell much difference. I find that the feel of the club during the swing is uncomfortable and I can't really tell where face is throughout the swing. Maybe I am just so used to my own driver that others feel different. I also cut 1" off my driver at purchase, so hitting a 45" driver is weird too.
