Interview with Steve Pelisek on Titleist AP1/AP2 Irons

I just tried AP2 with Project X 5.5. I do like it a lot. The feel was very good similar to MP-57. Have not tried AP1 yet.

I hit Mizunos when I was getting fitted, can't remember which ones though, the MX25's I think. They were my third favorite (AP2, then AP1's, but basically tied, then the Mizunos), had great feel. But they seemed really heavy compared to all of the other clubs I tried, to the point it was distracting. I probably would have gotten used to it, but I'm happy with my AP1's.

Ordered my AP1s about 2 weeks ago from Golf Galaxy and they came in yesterday. I went to hit them while I was in the store and the 8 iron I was swinging felt extremly short. I took it over to the demo rack and grabbed another 8 iron and it was a 1/2 inch short. The clubs I ordered were supposed to be 1/2 inch over and also 2 degrees up.

Has anyone had any problems with Titleist not sending the right order to them? Also, does anyone know how I can find out who the Titleist rep is for Phoenix Arizona?
