Just saw it in in a golf catalog. Think it looks pretty sharp..gotta love the digital clock display.

I saw this too and can't really decide if I want to spend the extra money on the SkyCaddie, which would be an extra 100 for me through a contact. I think the simplistic nature of this by Bushnell is nice though.

I saw it at tgw.com. I called Bushnell and they said it is due to come out soon. I think their website will show the courses that are available but I haven't seen that yet.

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

Saw this on RockBottom for a bargain price so took a chance. It arrived today and after a LOT of screwing around getting the drivers installed on Windows 7 I have my home course installed onto it. Hurrah!

I noticed that one of the "features" is a backlit display and that was the case when it was plugged into my PC however for the life of me I can't figure out how to turn on the backlit display on the device itself when it's not plugged into the PC. There's nothing in the Quick Start guide, the Owner's Manual, on the website FAQ or anywhere that I've managed to find. Any ideas fellow owners?

Thanks but no luck.

  • From being switched off holding "Enter/On" button held for 2 seconds turns the device on. Holding the button for longer than that does nothing.

    • Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.
    • Day 123 12-13 Rotation and getting to lead side work. Recorded face on. Hit a few foam balls but did plenty of rehearsals today.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
