Hey guys wondering if you had any thoughts on this line of clubs. Have you been able to hit them or see them? I have a few places by me that will get them for me but I have been unable to find a place to demo them yet. The pocket cavities and blades have caught my eye more so than the full cavity.

Im thinking these in blade or pocket cavity, s58 or AP2 but since so far the closest place is 1 hour from me that has a demo id like to get some thougths before going out there. Ive hit both the AP2 adn s58 and like them both. I figure the PC is the most comparable to these two?

Also any thoughts on the weight of the clubs, I generally play 1.25" to 1.5" over standard so thats always a concern. I had the new macgregors and they were nice but after adding the lenght they were way way too heavy.

I call the 12 closest retailers to me on Bridgestones site that it says is a dealer for these clubs. NONE have a demo, let alone even have them in the store/shop to see. They can order for them, but cant fit me for them. How does one company think they will sell clubs if no stores carry them for you to see or demo? I emailed customer support and asked them so I will see what they say. I really want to try these out but Im not going to kill myself looking for a demo or retailer to fit me.

I hit the blade and regular cavity indoors the other day because I'm thinking about these clubs as well. I hit my clubs and these clubs, and these feel much better. It's probably because my clubs suck so bad, but still. The guy working was very knowledgable, and he said this was the only forging he'd put up against Mizuno. The blade and regular cavity look almost identical at address, and all three clubs are tuned to create the ultimate combo set if desired. If I get to hit them outdoors and like them, I'll probably go PC in 3&4; cavity in 5,6,7; and blade in 8,9,PW.

These are, by far, the best looking new club from address I've seen. I also hit the AP2, and it felt not so great by comparison.

In the Bag:

Driver: FT-5 Tour 9.5*; Grafalloy PL Red
FW Wood: X 17*; Stock shaft
Hybrid: X 21*; Fujikura BanzaiIrons: X-18 Pro Series; S300Wedges: X forged 56* & 60*balls; tees; like $20 in change; chapstick; bugspray; a bunch of wrappers and such.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
