Alabama has been winning and losing in a stacked SEC since 2005 with a painful coaching situation for the past, what, 7 years? (Mike Price lol). Clemson is playing in a burnout ACC with Tommy Bowden solidly in place.

Dont forget about that tough Louisiana Monroe team they lost to last year.

Quit apologizing for Bama... bad teams have to play good teams... thats how it works. If they were any good they would have won no matter the schedule.

Yep. It's DEFINITELY Clemson's fault the ACC is down and the SEC is up

I love SEC logic. It's so funny to me how a 6-7 win team from the SEC is better than a 9-10 win team from another conference. I love it.

You weren't comparing a 6-7 team to a 9-10 team. You wear comparing two teams with a 2 game difference in record over 3 years.

That is easily attributable to differences in schedule, which in this case is a result of conference scheduling. Consider, for example, the fact that Alabama played the National Champions in 2 of those 3 years (Florida 2006, LSU 2007) and lost both games. The point is that statistics are easily manipulated and often misleading. Alabama and Clemson's programs are actually about equal in the past few years. This year Clemson is poised to win the ACC, but we'll see what happens.

Also let's go back to the Hawaii example for record vs. strength of schedule.

After looking over Bama's schedule last year, you are absolutely retarded if you think they will beat Clemson.

Feel free to continue putting words in my mouth.

Losing Jimmy Johns is certainly going to hurt them, but Tommy Bowden is hardly a consistent coach and Nick Saban's Tide hasn't shown much consistency thus far either. Both teams suffer from "Which team is going to show up on Saturday?" syndrome. This game could go down to the wire. It could be a blow out either way. There's no way to know because neither team is at all consistent, and it's a neutral-site opener. If you're already trying to call this game in July, you're the one who's retarded.

HAHA. You put three years of records up there to compare the two programs? Hilarious. Keep wishing and dreaming.

Well more stats for you. Rivals.com top recruiting rankings....Alabama is #1. Notre Dame #2. Clemson...#12

So an undefeated Hawaii or Boise State is better than a 3 loss SEC team?

Because last year's schedule has something to do with the game against Clemson THIS year?

You're not even making a valid argument. You are simply making yourself look stupid by making comparisons such as these.

Classic. Very Nicely Done. What place did LA Monroe finish in the SEC?

Who looks stupid? I was asking the question. Doesn't seem like I can get an answer.

2006??? It's 2008. Keep living in the past. What does UL-Monroe have anything to do with the SEC? NOTHING.

The argument is ignorant.

UL-Monroe defeated Alabama by 7 in 2007. So did Auburn and LSU. So therefore, UL-Monroe is just as good as LSU and Auburn, right? ROLL TIDE!

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
