Classic. Very Nicely Done. What place did LA Monroe finish in the SEC?

That's the funny part.

Who looks stupid? I was asking the question. Doesn't seem like I can get an answer.

Common sense kicks in there. BSU? Maybe, but unlikely. Hawaii is too undersized to compete on the national level.

The reason you look stupid you are tossing out dumb comparisons with nothing to back it up.
2006??? It's 2008. Keep living in the past. What does UL-Monroe have anything to do with the SEC? NOTHING.

If you are talking about seeing success from Alabama, YOU are the one living in the past

So help me out then. Who is GSU? Georgia Southern?

Yep, it is.

Then who are you to make any comments on Alabama football?

Stick to your I-AA football.

Well, my first love is Georgia Tech. Because of that, I know mediocrity when I see it.

Yea, Alabama! Drown 'em Tide!

Every 'Bama man's behind you; Hit your stride! Go teach the Bulldogs to behave, Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave! And if a man starts to weaken, That's a shame! For 'Bama's pluck and grit Have writ her name in crimson flame! Fight on, fight on, fight on, men! Remember the Rose Bowl we'll win then! Go, roll to victory, Hit your stride, You're Dixie's football pride, Crimson Tide!

Just think, if UA weren't such cheaters, Tech might still be in the SEC and be playing them!

Wow. Talk about weak and pathetic excuses. Need some cheese with your whine?

GT is a wreck! However, I'd trade GT to replace Kentucky in the SEC any day!!

Of course they're a wreck. That's whole premise. A ramblin' one at that.

Not sure how that's a pathetic excuse though....cheating is cheating. Do I care what conference they're in? Nope. Alabama 53-46 (.535) since 2000 (decided to go a little farther back this time) Georgia Tech 61-41 (.598) since 2000 I'm not seeing room for Bama fans to be trashing Tech

You can take this to the bank: neither of my alma maters will be in a bowl that wasn't made by American Standard.

Tulane and University of New Mexico. Bummer.

I components! Currently playing Alpha and Nakashima.

ALL-TIME STATS:

Alabama 787–314–43 (.706) GT 649–436–43 (.549) Bowl Records: Alabama: 31–21–3 GT: 22–13–0 National Titles: Alabama: 12 GT: 4 All-Americans: Alabama: 25 GT: 15 Conference Championships: Alabama: 92 GT: 49 1892 was first season for each team. End of conversation. When you argue how much better your team has been in the past 3,4,5,6,7,8 years it only shows how much of a bandwagon fan you really are. Open your mouth when we talk about all-time team records.

You're heading towards "was" rather than "is".

Past success doesn't mean much in the present

There are only 11 "recognized" national championships for Bama btw

No. Actually we recognize ALL 12. Alabama IS still the leader in national championships and bowl wins.

Nah... There are hundreds of Buckeye fans that congregate at a few select bars during the season.

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
