How long is your putter?

I had my putter cut down a further 3 inches today, and it is currently 30 inches long (had the Winn Cancer grip put on in memory of my mum).

I had this done as it helps me feel more over the ball, it does seem rather short in comparison to others though, so how long are your putters?

Belly putters and Long putters are welcome in this discussion.

Cool move with the grip choice. I'm 5 feet 11 inches, conventional stance, use a 34 inch putter.

How tall are you?

I'm 6'1/2" and have a 35 inch putter, anything shorter hurts my back after prolonged use.

I have a 33" Ping, a 34" Odyssey DFX and a 35" John Daly. Finding the right putter for the day is a major exercise for me.

im 5'11 and I use a 33.5 inch putter. My stance is pretty erect, so I use 2 degrees up on the lie. Its essentially a 34 inch putter with that lie angle.

I have a 36" Nike Unitized Tiempo putter. I'm 6' 3". A 35" would likely work too as I tend to grip down about 1/2" but I got an excellent deal on this as a slightly used putter.

i use a 35" but would prefer to have 36". im 6'4" and putt with an upright stance. im thinking of dabbling with a long putter as well.

In my freestyle:

I have 2 putters:

Yes! Marilyn 33" for the Straight back/through.
SC Newport 2 33" for the Arc swing.

I finally settled down with these two after experimenting with numerous putters to include the Rife's, Nike Oz, 2 Ball, TM Daytona 1.

Cheers for the replies, I am 5' 8" so not particularly short, but I have never liked the feeling of an upright stance, it seems to encourage a stroke that is TOO in to in for my liking.

      It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…

      I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
