I'm sure this has been asked before, I'm sorry if it has.

If i bought a set of irons that were not fitted to me, can i take them in to a club fitter and have them "lengthen" them? I wasn't sure if clubs could be lengthened or only shortened.

They can cut your grips off and glue on some inserts and then regrip them.

I'm not sure how long they can go. I've had this done in the past and added 1".

Clubs played okay for me. Did it to a set of Hogans that I bought for a super deal.
