I just purchased the Big Bertha 460 10* yesterday and took it out the range for a bit and then played 15 holes with some friends. At the range I was slicing a little bit but figured out that I needed to move the ball even more forward than I usually do. On the course I hit the club about 5 times and it was great. I had on really bad slice but had a great second shot over some trees so I could save par. I am now in love with this driver and one of my playing partners is so tempted to buy this club as well. Is anyone else using this driver and what do you think about it.

I am using this driver for the first time this year. I had a Hogan driver that I loved dearly that broke and Callaway replaced it free of charge with the BB460. I hate this driver! Mis-hits feel the same as hits from the sweet spot. I really hate the fact that it looks like a squashed and flattened cantalope. I read alot of people who love this driver but I just want to get rid of it. The best shots I have hit with this driver feel like crap. I just can't deal with the shape of the head on this driver. Sorry to rain on your parade but this is my honest opinion....

I play this driver and love it. The price is reasonable and it is extremely forgiving. I can drive 250yds consistently with this driver. Best purchase of 2008 so far for me!

I know. I just really want to like this driver! Everyone else does so why can't I? It sucks because my wife is watching my golf purchases like a hawk now so I don't know how I am going to get a new driver.....

Might just have to sell the BB460 and then buy something else.

Well this thread reminded me how much I disliked the BB460 and prompted me to get a new HiBore XL which I am now crushing down the fairway instead of bananna slicing into the rough like I was doing with the BB460. So thanks TheThein11 for getting the fire lit under me and getting me to change drivers. I am a much happier golfer now!
