I think Nike's are horrible, and Mizuno's look beautiful. Guess that would definetely influence my decition...

I think Mizuno's are for lower handicappers, atleast the MP's are.

The Slingshots will probably better suit you.

MP's are for low handicappers, the MX are for the higher handicapper. I agree with everyone above. I would give the edge to the Mizuno for looks, but you should try them out.

Oh ok, I wasn't sure.

I'd try to demo them any way possible.

go to a local driving range that has demo clubs and demo both irons, then whichever ones you hit better or like the feel of buy those. but definitely dont just go out and buy some irons without hitting them first.

I used to use the Slingshots and to be honest I did like them and I would recommend them, the name Mizuno does speak for itself and I have never heard bad reviews for them, I suppose that hasn't really helped your choice though :p

If you have not tried either or both sets then I suggest you do, if you are still stuck just go for what ever is cheapest I suppose.

You've played golf 6 times and shoot in the 80's?

If you can shoot in the 80's, maybe the MX line isn't for you, you could look at the MP line, they give better feel.

I am partial to Mizuno on this decision because the Nike's look to big and clunky.
