you can practice getting used to the sound by hitting rocks with a frying pan !
The fact is, once you get over it (or use ear plugs) it's really a decent driver...

That is loud! I just used it at our INDOOR driving range! It just reverberated throughout the entire place. I was so embarrased I felt obligated to make sure no one else was swinging when I went to swing. (thank god everyone was shopping and there were only a handful of people there today!)

I kinda like the driver but am not crazy about the blue/purple finish. Maybe the Mactec 2 will be black. Then again, I need another driver like I need a hole in my head.

I rather liked the blue, actually. But yes, Peter, I warned you it'd be loud.

Too late! Especially after hitting it at demo day, I was especially impressed with the fairway woods.
I thought the driver was really easy to setup with though and it wasn't as loud as the V-Foil
